Chapter 14: A Welcome Home Party

<Travis's P.O.V.>

It's been a week since Zane and I started to date. We didn't tell anyone yet. Aphmau and Aaron are returning later today, so everyone was helping Katelyn set up a welcome home party for them. She said we were having it at Aphmau and Aaron's new house, she had a key so we were able to get there before the two got home.

"Travis, can you hand me the tape?" Garroth asked. He was standing on a ladder, putting up a 'Welcome Home' sign. I got the tape and handed it to Garroth.

"Here." I said. He took it and said 'thanks' as I walked off. I've been trying to get on Garroth's good side so he won't freak out when I eventually tell him that I'm dating his brother.

The house was decorated and we were all ready for Aphmau and Aaron to come home. We were all hanging out in the living room, when Katelyn got a text.

"I'll be right back. I have to go pick those two up from the airport." She said with a smile. We all sat there in silence as she left.

They finally walked in the door, about thirty minutes later. Aphmau came running to me aand Zane, who were standing next to each other. When she got to us, Aphmau hugged us as we both hugged her back. She finally let go.

"I'm so, so, so sorry." She said as tears started to form in her eyes.

"It's fine Aphmau. Trust me it's fine." Zane reassured her.

"We could never be mad at you." I added. She started to smile.

"I love you two." She said.

"We love you too." Zane and I said, simultaneously.

"Oh, yeah. That reminds me. I wanted to speak with you both with Aaron. In private." She replied, with a smile.

"How much trouble are we in?" Zane asked Aaron. He smiled and let out a little laugh. Aphmau smiled too, as well as Travis.

"None." Aaron said. We walked into their backyard, after Aphmau addressed to everyone one that we would be back in about twenty minutes.

"So, you wanted to talk about, what?" Travis asked. I looked at Aphmau, who was standing next to Aaron.

"I wanted to apologise for keeping Aphmau for myself. I didn't realise how much she means to you guys. I'll admit it, I was jealous and I was scared she would leave me for one of you. So, I'm really sorry about keeping Aphmau for myself." Aaron said, in a very meaningful way.

"Why would I ever leave my hot boyfriend for Aphmau?" I jokingly said. After glancing at Zane to see his extremely red face, I looked at Aaron. "If anything, I should be thanking you for taking her away from me."

"Wait, what?" Aaron asked, surprised.

"Are you two?" Aphmau asked. I nodded. She screamed in her fangirl scream. "For how long?"
I nudged Zane. His face was still really red.

"2-2 weeks." He stuttered. Aphmau fangirled more. Aaron wrapped her in his arms to try and make her stop but it didn't work so he let go of her.

"Never thought I would see you two together but you both do make a good couple." Aaron said as we watched Aphmau try and get out of her fangirl state.

"Thanks." I said as I put my arm around Zane. He leant his head on my chest. Aphmau finally stopped fangirling after about fifteen whole minutes. She saw me and Zane together and smiled.

"Can you two kiss?" She childishly asked.

"No." Zane said and he walked back inside the house. Aphmau frowned.

"He's still getting used to the fact that we're dating." I said. "Don't mention that we're dating to anyone else, please. Zane wants to keep it a secret and I really don't feel like dying from Garroth."

"Okay. We won't. Let's go enjoy this party now." Aphmau said and the three of us went inside and enjoyed the party, just like Aphmau said.

Thank you for reading. I really enjoy writing this book but I will not be updating as much. For the next month, I have my cousins visiting and we spend all day with them so I won't have the time to write as much as I normally do. When they leave, I will go back to updating almost every day.
