Mistakes I've Made

Seth's POV

            I was wondering all day if Raine would take me back or not. She didn't say anything else that day, she just got up and left. Didn't everyone deserve a second chance to make up for what they did? The days that passed I kept wondering more and more what she will say, I watched her as she talked to others in the pack. She would wave to me and say hi but that was it. I made my mind up that if she didn't talk to me about it soon then I would talk to her.

            I had to head into to town, we were getting a new member in the pack, we would be up too 15 now. The new guy was name Kade, he didn't have a last name, he told me that he didn't like it so no one knew what it was. I was heading for the cafe that he told me to meet him. I walked up too the front of the store and peered in. What I saw shocked me and hurt me. Raine was sitting inside holding another guys hand. I felt tears sting at my eyes. great, and the worst part is that I think that is Kade.

            I held my head high and walked in, I hid my emotions from everyone. I headed up to the table and I saw Raine look back to see me, her eyes showed that she was shocked and sad. I hated seeing that in her eyes, and I knew that I was the caused of it.

"You must be Kade." I said looking away from Raine and at the guy sitting across from her.

"Ah yes, and you must be Seth." He held out his hand. I grabbed it but let go quickly.

"Hello, Raine." I made my voice sweet as possible, I was mad that she was with someone else without telling me. "Can I speak with you outside?" I asked her, I watched Kade shake his head, like he was giving her permission to go outside. I watched her get up and follow me outside.

"What the hell?" I asked her when we were standing outside.

"What? I can't be with another guy?" She asked me, I knew that she was getting pissed off.

"No you can't. I want you back Raine, and I'm trying to prove it too you, but you won't let me."

"Did you ever stop to think that maybe I don't want you too?" I knew that she wanted to scream that at me, but she kept her voice low and harsh. "Did you ever stop to think that maybe, I don't trust you anymore?" I was getting pissed and I knew it.

"We will talk about this later." I told her and walked back into the cafe, I headed right up to Kade.

"Come with me." I told him and I watched as he slowly got up, his muscles were tensed, and ready.

"Why?" Kade asked me.

"Just follow, is that too hard?" I questioned him and turned around, and headed out the door, I heard him following enough distance in between us. I headed into the woods.

"What's going on?" he asked me, but I changed. I wanted to kill him so badly for taking Raine away from me.

Raine's POV

I followed them into the woods, I knew that this couldn't end good. I watched as Seth changed into his wolf and stare at Kade, most likely waiting for him to change too. I couldn't let them fight, I ran out and got in front of Kade and held my arms up.

"Don't you dare hurt him." I yelled at the wolf. I watched the wolf eyes go wide then relax, Seth has let his wolf take over. I didn't know how he would react. I heard a low growl come from the black wolf in front of me, it was a warning growl for me.

I changed into my wolf and growled back. My ears went flat and I growled again. I'm letting you take over. I told my wolf and I let her have control. All I could do was sit back and watch now. My wolf lowered herself to the ground ready to attack, in one quick motion the black wolf in front of me had his teeth in me, my wolf cried out in pain. She through out her claws and got him in the face. He yelped a little in pain, I felt claws go into my front leg and I fell forward, I couldn't help but change back. I laid on the ground, my arm was bleeding badly and the back of my neck was bleeding. His wolf came over to me and put a long claw mark up my back, I screamed in agony. My vision was going black, but I saw a white wolf standing over me, protecting me.

Seth's POV

I cant believe my wolf did that to my mate! She was now laying on the ground bleeding, with a white wolf standing over her. That must be Kade. The white wolf had his ears back and was growling at me. I took back control over my wolf and bowed my head in disgust. I changed back then, I had a cut under my eye from Raine. I watched as Kade changed back too, and was kneeling down beside Raine's body. I felt tears sting at my eyes again. I cant believe this, I need to get away from here. I changed back into my wolf and ran, I headed for the Alpha's house
