The Party (Part 2 Night Time)

Raine's POV

            It wasn't long till it was night time. Riley and Kade decided to start a fire so they can roast the deer that they got earlier. There was a lot of people drinking, I was on my second bottle of Champagne, the one good thing about being a werewolf is that it took a lot of alcohol to get you drunk.  Carter was finally having fun, he was dancing around the fire like an idiot. Some people were in wolf form out hunting trying to get more deer.

            I was sitting down resting, I've been up on my feet dancing since nightfall. The moon was almost full tonight. In two days Kade and me were going to mate, I was excited.

"Damn it!" I heard someone scream and I looked over towards the fire to see Riley jumping up and down holding his wrist. I couldn't help but laugh. I heard Kade's laughter and saw that he was on the ground holding his sides as he laughed at Riley. I knew that Kade was on the ground laughing for about five minutes before he got up.        

            He came running over to me. He had a huge smile on his face. He picked me up and started to spin me around, and around. I was giggling the whole time. He was shaking up my champagne, I decided to open it while he was spinning me. It shot up in the air and covered us up with it. After the champagne was done Kade fell down and I landed on top of him. I started to crack up again, he must be getting drunk.  

"Kade how many beers did you have?" I asked him when I stopped breathing.

"I don't know, I lost count after 25." He answered. I gave him a playful shove. I gave him a kiss, he tasted like beer.

Jada's POV

            I cant believe this, I have a true mate and I don't even know the guy that well. I haven't talked to Seth since the guy told me. He's been worried, I can feel it but I don't want to tell him. I don't know what to do. I cant even enjoy myself at the party because of this. Just great.

Kade's POV

            I was still laying down on the ground with Raine in my arms. I was so glad that in two days we will be full mated. I was excited and I knew that she was too. I had a very little buzz going on from the alcohol.

"You cant drink anymore." Raine told me.

"Awe, come on its a party." I pleaded with her.

"No." She told me.

"Fine." I told her, I kissed the top of her head. I watched as Riley stood up on a table, I gave him a weird look.

"Everyone Shut Up!" Riley yelled, and everyone immediately shut up. "Carter would like to say some words." He told very one and jumped off the table.  Carter climbed up on the same table that Riley was on and cleared his throat.

"Hello everyone," He started, "I would like to thank everyone for coming. and I would also like to say that I founded out that I have a true mate. Her name is Jada." He said. I heard gasped go through the crowd. I heard Raine gasp too. I heard screaming coming from the far end of the clearing, and I looked back to see Seth ranting, I swear I saw steam come out of his ears.

"Things got interesting." I whispered into Raine's ear. She just looked back at me wide eyed. I gave a little chuckle. Then I heard stomping and I saw Seth making his way up to where Carter was.

"How dare you! Try and take my mate!" He screamed.

"Seth Calm down now!" I yelled at him using my Alpha voice.

"Don't tell me what to do!" He yelled at me and pointed his finger at me. I moved Raine from my lap and stood up. Soon I was standing in front of him grasping his shirt and lifting him off the ground, I got into his face thing time.

"I am the Alpha and you will do what I say." My voice was low and deadly. Seth started to growl at me. I remove my one hand from his shirt and smacked him upside the head.

"Don't you dare growl at me." I warned him. I knew my eyes changed to a blood red because I saw his eyes go wide with fright.  I let go of him completely he fell to the ground and stepped back a little when I let him go. I then heard awe's go through the crowd and I looked back to see that Jada was standing up with Carter and they were kissing. That's kind of disgusting if you ask me. Well she is kind of disgusting. I hope he will be happy with her.  I headed over to where Raine still sat on the ground.

"What time is it?" She asked, I pulled out my phone and it was almost 12.

"Its almost 12." I told her and kissed her head. Carter stepped down from the table still with Jada in his arms and they were heading over to me.

"Kade." Carter said with a huge smile.

"What can I do for you?" I asked.

"We want to mate, this full moon." Carter told me.

"You need to ask riley about that, because he his going to be Alpha for that day so he can mate Raine and me." I told him, he nodded his head and headed off to find out where Riley got too.

            Everything started to die down after that, some were leaving. some were helping to clean up. Raine and I were still laying on the ground staring up at the stars. Her head was resting on my chest, I was running my hand up and down her back.

"You ready to go home?" Raine asked me then yawned.

"Yeah." I told her and kissed her head. She stood up first and waited till I was standing before she changed into her wolf. I loved her wolf, that dark black and those beautiful blue eyes. She turned her head too look at me. I changed then into my wolf. I heard some people gasp as they saw my white fur.      

            I gave them my wolfy smile and I headed onto the path with Raine following me. She was nipping at my back legs trying to make me go faster. I just chuckled with turned into a couple of barks. Finally I guess she got tired of trying to make me go faster, she took off past me running as fast as she could. I couldn't really see her too well since it was pitch black out. I took off after her and trying to catch up to her, but when I reached the end of the path I didn't she her.

            I sniffed the air to try and find her scent, I found it faintly so I started trotting in that direction. it wasn't till I heard the whimper and then the gun shot that I started to run, in the direction of the sound.
