Inner Wolf

Kade's POV

"Raine, you awake?" I asked her, it was getting pretty late out and I wanted to head back to the house and ask Riley where I would be staying at. I moved my head a little to check and see if she was awake, I couldn't see her face though so I tried to shake her a little, nothing. Great, now I had to carry her. I laid her carefully on the ground before I stood up. I reached down and picked her up bridal style.

            I started heading back in the direction of the house. I need to tell Riley who I really was and I needed to do it soon. I thought to myself. Maybe tomorrow I will, after a good nights sleep. As I walked through the woods I could tell that the sun was setting. I could tell that tonight was going to be cold. Most wolves couldn't tell that, they can only tell when the sun was setting so that was normal really. I heard a soft grunt when I jumped over a log, hey maybe she's going to wake up.

"Ugh, where am I?" She asked me, clearly still half asleep.

"In the woods." I told her, I seem to scare her because she almost jumped out of my arms.  "Calm down."

"What are you doing?" She asked me.

"Carrying you back to the house."

"Why?"

"Did you want me to leave you out in the woods?" I asked her confused.

"No, but you can put me down now." She told me, so I set her down on her feet.

"Hey I'll race you." I told her with a smirk.

"Your on." And we both changed at the same time. I took off not waiting for her, she snooze she loses. I was the first one to reach the house, a minute later  a huge black wolf tackled me to the ground. We wrestled on the ground for a little.

Seth's POV

           

            I woke up beside Jada, my arms were wrapped around her and her head was resting on my chest, I quietly moved out of that position making sure not to wake her up and I headed down stairs. I walked into the kitchen to find my mother sitting next to my father eating breakfast.

"Seth, Good morning. Would you like something to eat?" My mother asked me.

"Yes, please." I told her and she went back into the kitchen, 5 minutes later she came out with a stack of pancakes. They looked really good, the chief must have just made the. "Thank you."

"Your welcome, dear." My mother told me.

"How long are you staying." My father asked me.

"One more day. then I have to leave to go back to my pack."

"Good you can take Jada."

"No."

"Yes, she loves you, and you love her. So what if she is an Omega, the rule needs to be changed anyways." My mother told me before my father could.

"Its not just that. I cheated on my other mate on her, because she couldn't deal with the fact that I mated to another, so she forced herself on me." I told them.

"And who was this other mate?" My father asked me.

"Raine Grayson." I told them.

"Ok. Did you mate with her to keep peace?" My mother asked.

"Yes. I did it for the good of my pack." I told her.

"Then you cheated on her. You couldn't have loved her that much then." My mother said with a laugh, I glared at her.

"And why do you have to teach you wolf manners, what did it do to her?" My mother asked me still laughing.

"It attacked her. she was sticking up for a guy that wants to join my back, and it just attacked her." I told them crying again.

"That's because your wolf is bonding with Jada better then if was bonding with Raine." My father explained.

"Go back to your pack and take Jada with you, and be proud of her. And there is nothing wrong with your wolf." My mother told me.

            I couldn't stand to be in that room, I was hoping that they were lying, I didn't want Jada as my mate. I only want Raine. No we don't, and you know it! My wolf snarled at me. Shut up! I yelled at it. See you know its true. We always wanted Jada, Mate with her fully. Do it! My wolf answered back in a growl. or I will take over, and do it.

            I walked back up too the bedroom that we were suppose to share, I peeked in to see that Jada was still asleep. I stepped into the room and walked up behind Jada. I don't want to do this. I told me wolf. I told you, if you don't I will! It told me snarling. I couldn't do this, I turned on my heels and walked out the door. I was fighting with my wolf the whole way out. I headed out of the house and into my truck, I didn't want to be near this house anymore.

            I know that I cant hide from my feelings anymore. That's why I have to stay far away from her, as possible. I put the truck and gear and started to drive away from the house. I didn't get far down the drive way because my foot hit the brake, and the next thing I knew I was going backwards. Damn wolf. I thought to myself. I gave you fair warning. My wolf told me. The truck went into park and I stepped out of the truck. When my two feet hit the ground I changed into my wolf and ran back inside. My wolf was in control now, I didn't know what to do, if I did this then I have no way of ever getting Raine back.
