The Hunter Becomes the Prey

Kade's POV

            We all gathered down stairs. All the guys of the pack. There were about 8 of them here. That was all the males, besides Riley, Carter, and me. They all gathered around the huge meeting table.

"We have a Hunter." I told them all, they all stared at me.

"Who?" Some one in the back asked.

"Todd "Gunner" Braxton." Riley said, his voice was completely cold.

"What is he doing here?" One of the guys in the front asked. I didn't know their names yet.  So I explained the whole situation to everyone. They all just stared at me when I was finished.

"So What do we do?"

"We kill him." I told them, they all seemed to liked this idea. "I want to set up patrols."  They all nodded their head. I held up a basket, inside was a pierce of paper with a time, that was the time they had to patrol. Everyone picked one out, even I did. I was hoping that I would be the one to find him, I will kill him. I grabbed the last pierce and looked at it. 7 o'clock.

"You are all dismissed." I told them and they cleared the room. I sat down heavily in the chair. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I looked up too see Riley standing there.

"We will get him." Riley told me, he patted me on the shoulder and walked away. I headed up stairs to be with Raine before I went out.

Todd's POV

(closer to Kade's time to patrol)

            I finished making about 35 bullets hoping that it would be enough. I pulled out my 357 Magnum Revolver, I started loading it. I was hunting tonight. I wanted to start to kill them off, Kade and his mate I was saving for last. I pulled out my other Revolver and loaded that on up. I put the other bullets in my trench coat. I grabbed my boots. And headed out the door.

            I got into my truck and drove off towards the territory. It took me about a 5 minute drive to get there. I parked the truck about a mile up the road, away from their drive way. I checked my watch it said 7 o'clock. They would never see me coming. I was halfway to the drive way when I ducked into the woods. There was a strong smell of werewolf along this path. They must have patrols set up. I climbed into the tree to wait for the wolf to come by again.

            I didn't have to wait long till I seen the white wolf, Kade. I pulled out my gun and I was getting ready to shot when something attacked me from behind, I fell from the tree, and there was a she-wolf on top of me. She was changing, soon there was a black wolf with bright blue anger filled eyes starring at me. She growled in my face, and I swear I heard the white wolf laughing. I shoved hard and pushed the wolf off. She rolled and swiftly got back on her feet.

            I heard more growls and snarls all around me, then I realized that I was surrounded. I felt strong arms on my upper arm, they took my guns and chained my wrist together. Something hit my head and I fell into blackness. My last thought was F*ck.

Raine's POV

           

            I watched the hunter climb into the tree in front of me, he didn't seem to notice. Then I saw him spot Kade. I watched the Revolver being pulled out from underneath the trench coat and I attacked. I sent him falling out of the tree, I landed on top of him and changed. I growled in his face, and then I was pushed off of him. I rolled to my feet and growled. I heard the rest of the pack growling at him, we had him! Was my first thought. I watched them knock the Hunter out and they dragged him back to the house.

            The females set of a chamber for out guest. It was more like a prison. I changed back when we neared the house, I watched them take him downstairs and chained him to the chair. That is where he will stay, It seem the hunter became the prey. I chuckled lightly to myself at the thought of that. Some of the others turned to stare at me. I just gave them a smile.

"What do we do now?" One of the females questioned.

"We wait till he wakes up. I want guards on him. He does not get lose." Kade told everyone, he was talking mostly to the males. They all nodded their heads. Everyone cleared the room except for Kade and me. He walked up to me, wrapped his arms around my waist and leaned his forehead against mine and whispered.

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"Pushing him out of the tree." He smiled at me then kissed me.

"Anything for you." I muttered against his lips and kissed him. "I love you."

"I love you too."

"I guess we are standing guard first." I told him with a laugh.

"Yeah." He removed his arms from around me, but kept one of my hands in his and lead me over to the door and sat down. He pulled me into his lap and we sat there.

Todd's POV

            I woke up and I heard the two wolves talking, Kade was out there and that female that attacked me out of the tree. Her voice sounded so familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on where I heard it before. I remember staring into the blue eyes then it hit me, that was Raine. Wow, she grow up, so did her wolf. I remember when she was a little girl and the first time that she changed.

            I looked around my cell, there was a solid metal door in front of me and nothing else, there were bars on the door for a little window. I looked down and saw that I was chained to a chair and that the chair I was chained and bolted to the ground. They really know how to hold someone. I chuckled in my head, I didn't want them to know that I was awake. I heard movement outside, I shut my eyes tight and may sure that my breath was even.

"He still asleep." I heard a males voice.

"What's the plan for him?" The female asked.

"We are going to kill him." The male to her and I heard kissing sounds, I wanted the throw up. Stupid stronger hearing. I need to get out of here! I screamed in my head.
