New Home

He told me that he loved me. I couldn't believe it, I guess this is what it feels like to have a mate. to have someone actually care for you. When he told me that he loved me last night my heart sang. My mind was snapped back in the reality when there was a knock at the door. And my father entered.

“Raine,” He said and pulled me into a hug. “I will miss you.” He whispered the rest into my ears. I gave him a hug back, and a tear leaked down my face.

“I’ll miss you too.” I told him. He brushed his thumb across my cheek to catch the tear.

“Are you ready?” He asked. I just nodded my head yes.

“Then come he is waiting.” He said and waved his hand for me to follow. As I stepped through my door way I looked back to my now empty room. I was going to miss it here. I closed the door behind me, I headed out the front door and out into the sun light. today I was going to a new place, new friends, and family. I was ready to start a new life. Seth came up to me when he saw me standing outside the front door. He wrapped his arm around my back and lead me to his truck. He had a black Ford F150. It was nice, we had a movers truck that would follow behind us. Driving the moving truck was two from Seth's pack, but I didn't get to meet them yet.

Seth opened the door to the passenger side and before I could climbed in I was attacked with a good-bye hug from Sara, I hugged her back, she finally let me go and I climbed into the passenger seat. I looked over to the drivers side and he was already in and starting it up, Sara closed my door and walked away from the truck. I turned and waved to all my friends that I was leaving behind. We began to pull away and Sara changed into her wolf. she was a pure white wolf with piercing silver eyes. She ran after us keeping up with the truck till we excited off of the territory, I could hear her howling. I would miss her so much, she was always there for me when I needed her, I couldn't help but cry as I thought about her.

“Are you crying?” He asked me while looking at me puzzled.

“No.” I told him and stared out the window.

“Yes you are I can feel your emotions and I can clearly see you.” He pointed out.

“Ok fine I am.” I told him.

“Why honey?” He asked with concern filling his voice, he reached over and rubbed my back.

“I’ll miss them a lot.” I told him.

“I know.”

I looked over at him and he smiled at me, I had to smile back. The hand that he was rubbing my back with wrapped around my shoulder and pulled me into his side. I laid my head down on his shoulder and fell asleep.

I was woken up, when Seth went to move his arm from around me. “Huh?”

“Sorry I didn't mean to wake you.” Seth said.

“Where are we?” I asked.

“Were about 10 minutes from the entence to our land.” he said with a smile, I just smiled back. Soon I will get to meet my new pack members and I'm going to have to show them that I can handle being the Alpha female. That means I have to fight the Beta. I was always good at fighting, but I hated doing it. Hopefully he will go easy.

“Your worrying about something, what is it?” He asked.

“Just the fight.” I admitted.

“You’ll do just fine.” He told me, I gave him a quick smile. “We are here.”

“Great.” I said nervously, Seth started to chuckle a little.

            Seth pulled the truck up to a large white house, there was woods around and I could faintly see other houses on the territory. I got out of the truck quietly, I couldn't help but watch the tree lines for danger, it just was natural. I could see a couple come up to greet Seth. I watched as he said hi to the couple next to him. I felt fear shot through my veins. Seth must have felt it because he looked overed at me with concern full on his face.

“Raine this is Riley and Faith Lynn. Riley is my Beta.” Seth told me. Faith came up and hugged me.

“Welcome to the pack.” She told me with a warm smile.

“Thanks.” I told her.

“Were going to be good friends I can feel it.” She told me and smiled at me, I gave her a tiny smile.

“Hello,” Riley said and held out his hand for me to take it. I took his hand and muttered “Hey.”

He leaned down and whispered in my ear, “I’ll go easy on you, don't worry.”

“Thank you.” I whispered back. I felt more at relax after hearing that.

“Raine, you’ll meet the rest of the pack tomorrow.” Seth told me, I just nodded at him as he lead me into the house. The front door led into a main hallway, I looked around, there was a door closed, I figured it was his office. There was an open door way that led into the kitchen and another that led into the living room.  I walked into the living room and looked around, there was a large sofa, a love seat and a chair. All facing a huge flat screen T.V. There was a huge picture window with a seat and a book case near by.

            There was tons of book there, I wanted to walk over there and look but I decided to check out the rest of the house first. I headed up the stairs with Seth following me. "That's our room." He told me pointing to the white door in front of me, I turned the knob and headed inside. There was a sitting area with a sofa and a love seat, there was an even bigger T.V. in our room then it was down stairs. It was I bet 72". I headed towards the other door, when I opened it lead me into the bedroom, there was a huge king size bed in there. A walk in closet, and two big dressers. I headed to the next door and I figure it should be the bathroom. I opened it up and there was a big bath tub, and a shower. It was huge!
