Lost...

Raine's POV

            I finally stopped crying and wiped my face clearing it of tears, I looked up to see all the females looking at me, I saw in there eyes that they wanted to ask. I knew they saw in my eyes not too, except for Faith.

"What's wrong?" She asked me. I shook my head at her and got up from the couch and headed up the stairs. I didn't know if she was following me or not but I didn't care. I headed to my room and laid face down on the bed.

"Raine?" Faith's voice enter the room. I felt someone sit down on the bed and rub my back. "You can tell me if you want." Faith told me, I felt like I need to tell her. I sat up in bed and turned around till I was facing her. And I told her everything that happen that day.  

            I looked at her when I was finished and started to cry again, me and my mother were very close. Faith wrapped her arms around me and hugged me close. It was a nice moment, Sara used to do this when ever I cried.

"I never told Kade any of that." I told Faith when I stopped crying.

"Why not?"

"It brings back a lot of emotions." I told her and gave her a small smile.

Kade's POV

            We sat on the side of the street by the hunters truck waiting for Riley and his group to show up, I wanted this guy dead. After a couple minutes passed I started to feel sad, it was like something was making Raine sad and I was feeling it. I wanted so badly to change and run home to Raine. I knew that I could, I swallowed the emotion, I had to focus on the task at hand. Finally Riley came into view down the street I stood up, he came running over to us, his group not far behind.

"That's the truck?" Riley asked. I nodded he pulled this tracker out of his pocket and laid down in the street. I watched as he fixed the tracker to the bottom of the car.

"There that's if he gets away." Riley said standing up and smiling.

"Good work." I told him and patted his back. "We all ready?" I asked them, they all nodded there head and I put the gun behind my back and headed for the door. I entered the hotel, it was a big place on the inside, there was a huge kitchen and living and a small sitting area where people can wait will the host of the hotel showed people to there rooms. It was a cozy place, there was a firing going in the fireplace in the living room. I went up the counter and rang the bell. After about 3 minutes a guy came into viewing coming down the stairs.

"Yes, can I help you?" He asked me with a smile.

"I'm looking for a friend of mine, he said that he was staying here can you tell me which room?"  I asked the guy. He gave me a funny look and then nodded his head.

"What's his name?" He asked.

"Todd Braxton." It was hard to kept the hatred out of my voice when I said his name.

"Ah yes, Todd is on he 3rd floor room number 20." He said with a smile.

"Thank you." I told him. I made sure I hide my gun when I started up the stairs I knew that the guy was watching me. I reached the first floor and still had two more to go. I looked out into the hall of the first floor there was about 5 rooms on this floor, they looked really big from the outside. I headed up the stairs to reach the second floor. The second floor came into view, and there was more rooms up here. They must have been smaller in size. I quickly ran up the other stairs leading to the 3rd floor.

            I finally reached the floor and looked for the room 20. He was going to die night. I finally saw it at the end of the hall I ran to it and knocked on the door to be civil, I didn't want to kick it in yet. I didn't hear any movement inside and I knocked again, only a little harder. Next thing I know is I hear is a window breaking, and my phone ringing.

"He jumped out the window, with all his stuff." Riley screamed into the phone and hung up. Damn it.

Todd's POV

            I didn't know what else to do, I knew that it was Kade outside my door and I didn't want to face him yet, I needed to make more bullets I need a lot more. I packed all my stuff up quietly and headed for the window, I saw that there was a pack of them standing off by the main door. I stepped back a little and ran, I broke through the window and landed lightly on my feet. I took off towards my truck, I knew that I never would be able to out run them on foot, maybe in my truck I could. I opened the drivers side and throw my stuff in. I jumped I and started it up, I quickly put it in gear and drove off. I headed for the middle of the town, I knew that a lot of people would be out so they couldn't follow me in wolf form. I parked my truck in front of a restaurant and headed inside, I need to think this trough, they were pissed off and after blood, my blood.

Kade's POV

            We followed him to the middle of town, but we lost him shortly after wards, there was too many scents in this place and we could separate them. We were standing behind a store now. "Damn it." I said under my breath and punched the nearest wall. We lost him for now, he will not make it out of this town alive. I knew that he would try another attack on the pack, it was just when.

"Lets head back and re think this." The one male said. I looked at the rest of them, they all nodded in agreement.

"Fine." I said and walked away from the wall heading into the shadows, I changed into wolf form and headed for home. I made sure to say deep in the shadows as I moved away from the middle of town.

We will kill him soon. My wolf told me. I gave him a smile, and kept heading for home. We reached the woods and I took off at a dead run towards the house. The emotion that I swallowed was coming back up and I felt like I need to get home now, to comfort my mate.
