True Mates

Kade's POV

            It was midnight and I couldn't sleep. I decided to head up stairs to the kitchen, and get some warm milk. I headed up the stair quickly not wanting to wake anyone up. I got to the top of the landing and looked out in to the kitchen, I didn't know where anything was so I guess I would have to search. Great. I opened the first cabinet and plates, next one had bowls, next had food, next more food. God was I ever going to find the cups. I looked through all the cabinets and found none! what the hell? I thought. I walked over to the sink and found a cup nice and cleaned. The one place I didn't look. I headed for the fridge, I was about to open the door when I heard a scream. I dropped the glass and ran upstairs.

            I ran right into Raine's bed room to see her sleeping. Was I imagining the screaming? I asked myself, no that was real. I decided to sleep on the sofa in her room, in case she screamed again or something. I just started to doze off when I heard my name, it was very faint but it was definitely my name, And I fell asleep.

"Hello!" I yelled at into the blackness. "HELLO!" I yelled again louder.

"Please don't yell Kade." I heard a voice in the darkness.

"Who's there?" I asked. I watched as lights went on, I blinked a couple of times and looked around the room, there walls were a dark red color. I looked towards where I heard the voice and a Tall wolf came walking towards me. It had piercing black eyes like mine, and it was all white.

"Hello Kade." It said in a deep voice. a little deeper then mine. I stared at it, was it really talking to me? Strangest dream ever. I thought to myself.

"I can hear you Kade, and yes I'm talking to you. I'm your wolf." It told me. My wolf? Really, damn I have a good looking wolf. I heard the wolf chuckle a little at that.

"Why am I here?" I asked my wolf.

"I've found my true mate." Well at least he's blunt about it.

"Who?" I asked.

"Raine, but I don't think she knows it yet." My eyes went wide with happiness, I was overwhelmed with joy, mostly because Raine was my mate and the other part was that most wolves don't have "True" mates.

"How can she not know it?" I asked.

"Normally when a wolf has a true mate they don't find out till they're 18." My wolf explained.

"So I have to claim her as mine, soon?" I asked it.

"Yes, but only after you become Alpha." It order me. I nodded my head telling it that I understood.

"Good bye for now Kade." And the wolf disappeared.

            I woke up suddenly, I was breathing kind of heavy and I didn't want to believe that the dream was real, but I knew it was as soon as I saw Raine sleeping in her bed. everything seemed to stop and there was only her and me in the whole wide world. I shook my head a couple of times and was about to leave the room, when I heard.

"Kade, I love you." I froze with my hand on the door handle. A huge smile spread across my lips and I walked to her side of the bed and kissed her on the forehead and whispered

"I love you too." back to her. I watched a smile spread across her lips. I headed out of the room then and back down stairs to clean up my mess that I just remember that I made.

Raine's POV

            I felt lips pressed to my forehead and the words I love you whispered to me. I couldn't help but smile. I didn't know who it was though, I had three guesses. but I'll worry about it in the morning. I told myself and drifted back to sleep.

            Arms wrapped around me and a head rested on my shoulder. The person kissed my neck gently. They moved my head to the side to kiss my lips. The kiss was deep and passionate, I wrapped my arms around there neck and kissed them back. They finally pulled away breathing heavy like I was an I saw that it was Kade. This has to be a dream,  I thought to myself. 

"Raine, I love you." Kade told me and kissed me again. I was about to say it back when I woke up.

            I woke up in a daze by the dream I had. I could tell that it was late in the morning and most likely everyone was awake. I climbed out of bed and headed straight for the bathroom, I need a shower, my body was covered in sweat from last night. I turned the water on full blast and stripped out of my night clothes, which just happen to be what I wore yesterday. I stepped into the shower and the water burned my skin. I turned on the cold water a little to get it to the perfect temperature for me.

            I stepped out of the shower about five minutes later and into a nice fluffy towel. I headed into the bed room when the towel was around me and I found some clothes to wear for the day. After I dried off I pulled on my only pair of boot cut jeans and a Sick Puppies band shirt.

            I head down the stairs and head right into the kitchen, I found a note with my name on it, and it read.

Raine,

We all headed to the clearing join us when you wake up. And wake up Kade. See you soon.

Riley.

            Kade wasn't awake yet, I let out a sigh and headed down stairs to the other spare bedroom, I knocked twice and when I got no respond I opened the door to a sleeping Kade. He looked cute laying there sleeping, I thought to myself. I headed over to his bed and smacked his leg.  He still didn't wake up. I smacked his arm, nothing. I let of a sign and smacked his face. Still nothing, I thought to myself. What the hell?

"KADE!" I yelled into his ear, and nothing again.

Kade's POV

"KADE!" I heard her yell my name, I wanted to smile but that would give me away, I was awake the whole time since she been here. I wasn't prepared for what she did next though. I felt her lips touch mine and I thought the world stop. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her on top of me. I deepened the kiss, I didn't fell her pull away once so I continued, I felt her arms wrapped around my neck. I felt her mouth open a bit and I put my tongue into her mouth. Her body stiffen, after awhile she relaxed. I felt myself getting harder and harder.

            I pulled away breathing hard, that was good. I felt like I was addicted to it. This is bad I though to myself. Why don't you just tell her that she is your mate? I asked myself. Because I told you not too. My wolves voice was demanding. You really shouldn't have done that. It really sounded like it was pissed off. I laughed a little in my head. I don't want to wait! I yelled at it.  And I blocked the wolf out, I didn't care that it wanted me to wait, I wanted her, she is my mate and only mine.

"Raine, I have to tell you something." I told her.

Raine's POV

            He is the one! My wolf was screaming at me. How do you know? We cant be True Mates. I told her. But you are, I just know it! Watch and you will see. My wolf told me.

"Raine, I have to tell you something." He told me, and sat up in bed. I was sitting beside him now and waiting for him to continue. "Raine, your my True mate." He said in a rush. Told you so. My wolf told me. Shut up! I yelled at her.

"How do you know?" I asked

"My wolf told me." A huge smile spread across his lips. I couldn't help but smile back. and in that moment even though I wasn't 18 yet I knew he was telling the truth.

"Do you accept me as your mate?" He asked me.

"Yes." I told him and he kissed me again.
