Your Dead

Raine's POV

(before gun shot)

            I was running in front of Kade, I reached the end of the path and I heard movement in the woods, I headed out to find where it was and what it was. It seems like I was running for awhile till I came across a clearing that I didn't know was there. It was a small clearing. I heard more movement and I saw a cloaked person standing in front of me. He was carrying a pistol and he had a bat. He came walking up to me. I started to whimper. He swung the bat and it hit me in the leg, I gave off a louder whimper. I looked up to see him pointing the gun at me.  I closed me eyes not wanting to see what happened next.

Kade's POV

            I ran through the woods trying to find her. I need to find her and make sure she was alright. I picked up the smell of blood, I followed it to a small clearing, There at the end of the tree line was Raine in her wolf form, she was laying there unconscious. At the other end of the clearing holding the gun was a cloaked figure. There was a baseball bat laying beside Raine. It was too dark out even for my wolf to see where she had been shot.

"Hello Kade." The figure said, the voice sounded familiar, but I couldn't place it, they were using something to mask there scent and voice.

"Come out into the clearing, I know your there, I can see your white fur." The voice told me and I did what I was told. I stepped out. And headed right over to Raine. "Stop right there." It said and I froze, the gun was pointed at me, I wasn't even close to Raine.

"Change back!" The voice ordered. I did what I was told and changed, I was standing on two feet in less then a minute.

"How about you show yourself?" I asked it.

"Not yet." 

"What do you want?" I asked it.

"You dead, so I can have Her back." It said.

"You can't have her." I growled out.  I felt my power flow through my veins. It fueled my anger and I felt the wind whip around me, and his hood fell back. I gasped to see who it was.

"How did you do that?" He asked. He dropped the voice changer.

"Seth." I growled.

"Yes, its me." He said waving his gun around. I took a step towards him, my anger was moving me. "Stop right there." He said pointing the gun at me again. I snarled at him and I watched his eyes wide with shock and fear.

"Fight me like a man, and die like a man!" I shouted at him.

"I think not." He said. I changed into my wolf and bared my teeth at him. I need him distracted so I can get a open shot.

            I heard movement to the left and I saw Riley, he was in wolf form along with two other wolves that I didn't know. They gave me the distraction that I need and I lunge at Seth aiming for the throat. He looked back at me, I watched him jump back and change. He attacked me, his claws grazed my face and I felt it healing already. This time we kill him. I told my wolf. I agree. He answered back. And I lunged at him again, this time my teeth sank into his back and I bite down hard. I heard him give a whimper.  I bit down as hard as I could, but I let go when I felt claws dig into my front leg. He stepped away and was about ready to turn around and run when I tackle him.

            He fell to the ground and rolled trying to get away, but I bite into his tail making him bite at my muzzle, I felt his teeth sink in a little. He turned around and started to growl at me. I reached my head up to give him an open shot at my neck. I waited about 5 minutes before he decided to take it, I jumped out of the way and turned to bit his neck.

            My teeth sank into his neck and I bite down hard. Meaning to kill him. He struggled a little bit but then relaxed. I bit down a little harder and I heard the bone snap. I released his dead body, he fell in a heap of black fur. I didn't even give it a second glance as I ran over to Raine. I changed back in human form and I looked for a sign of the bullet entering her. She was breathing slowly and calmly. I looked her up and down and finally found it, there was a bullet hole in her back leg. It stop bleeding, I looked for an exit wound but found none. I had to get the bullet out before it started to heal.

            I Turned back into my wolf form and clawed at the hole trying to keep it opened. And a little bigger for I can get my fingers in there to get the bullet out. When I was satisfied that the hole was big enough I changed back and I started to dig for the bullet. I finally found, it was three inches into her leg. I had a hard time trying to pull it out. But after five minutes I mange to get it out. I heard a soft whimper and I saw that she had her eyes open and was looking at me and the bullet.

"Change back." I told her, she nodded her head and changed.

"I think he broke my arm." She told me. I concentrated on healing her leg and arm. I felt my powers flow through my veins again and I felt a little weaker. "Kade? How did you do that?" She asked and I finally opened my eyes to see that she was completely healed.

"I have my full power now." I told her with a smile. "I'm glad that you healed up. How do you feel?" I asked her.

"I feel great, and thanks." And she wrapped her arms around me. I returned the hug and picked her up.

"Lets go home." I told, she just nodded her head as I carried towards the house.
