The Truth Comes Out

Kade's POV

            I walked out of the hospital, I ran my hand through my hair and kicked into thin air. I had to kill the Alpha, I wasn't going to just let Seth runaway forever, he deserved to die, but he left for a couple of days, I was hoping that I could get this done and over with as soon as possible. And now Riley is Alpha, I can't kill him it wouldn't be right. Damn it! I wanted to scream into the air. I had a year to take control over the pack or no powers. The worst part is that I can't fight him anywhere but on the pack territory.

"Hey Kade, you alright?" I heard Riley say, I didn't even hear him come out.

"Yeah I'm fine." I told him and gave him a weak smile.

"Ok." He said and walked back into the hospital, I followed after him and I saw Raine sleeping and Faith, Riley's mate was next to her, she was sleeping too.

            Raine was a beautiful 16 year old girl, I remember when I first meet Raine she was 3 and I was 5, she was an early changer, she changed at age 3, while most change at age 5. I changed at age 4. I remember we always played together, and it always ended up with me chasing her, she was a small black wolf.  It brought a smile to my face, I was so happy today when I ran into her at the Cafe, I didn't expect it, but it was a happy surprise.

            Her wolf grew up a lot since the last time I seen it, Her fur was a more deep inky black now, her blue eyes changed too they became more bright now, like she was always happy, but I saw in the Cafe that her eyes changed to a duller blue when she was talking about Seth. I let out a low growl at the thought of his name, I had Riley staring at me. I shook my head no telling him not to ask. I was standing over by the window when I heard movement behind me. I looked around to see that Raine was up. About time, I thought. Least she slept the entire night, unlike you My wolf told me. I didn't pay any attention to the wolf as I walked over to the bed.

"Good morning sleepy head." I told her and smiled.

"Good morning Kade." She told me with a brilliant smile.

"Riley," I said looking over at him, "Can you ask the doctor if Raine can leave." He nodded his head and disappeared. He came back a couple minutes later.

"She can leave." I nodded my head and helped Raine out of bed.

"I want to talk to you alone." I whispered in her ear. She nodded her head.

"Can we stop at the house first I want to change clothes and take a shower."

"Of course." I told her and we left with Riley staring after us.

           

Raine's POV

            We headed out of the hospital, the air was kind of cold but I didn't mind. Why did Seth's wolf attack me? What happen back there?  I questioned, I knew that I couldn't question them out loud because Kade wouldn't know the answer. About 5 minutes we reached the Alpha's house, I headed right in and left the door open I heard the soft click as Kade closed it and I headed for the stairs.

"You can wait down here, or up stairs." I told him.

"I'll wait up stairs." And I led him up to the Alpha's room, he sat down on the sofa and turned on the TV. I headed over to the closet and pulled out a pair of black skinny jeans and a white tank top, and headed into the shower. I turned the water on and stripped out of my old clothes. I put the knob to warm water and stepped in, it was a comfortable warm. I wonder what Kade need to talk to me about. I was so happy yesterday when I ran into him at the Cafe, its been years since I last seen him.

            I stepped out of the shower and into a nice warm fluffy towel. I started to dry off, it felt good to get a shower, and change my clothes. I pulled on my clothes and headed out of the bathroom to see Kade sleeping on the sofa. I changed in my wolf form and went over and nudged him in the arm, I watched as he jolted awake, after he saw who it was he laughed and then patted me on my head, I licked his hand. 

"Come on I need to talk to you." And I changed back. he grabbed my hand and led me out of the house and into the woods.  He led me towards the clearing that I knew would have a lake in it, because it was the same one that I always went too. we stepped through the tree line, and I couldn't help but smile at the beauty of this place.

"Raine," Kade started, "What I tell you here today you cant tell anyone else, promise me."

"I promise." I told him and he sat down, he patted the seat next him and I sat down.

"Raine, have you ever heard of the Alchemy family?" He asked me.

"Yes, they are the most powerful werewolves ever." I told him.

"Yes they are, Raine, I am a Alchemy. My name is Kade Alchemy." He told me. I looked up into his face, his eyes were black, as black as my wolf. I was scared, he had a lot of power if this was true.

"Please don't be afraid, I'm not going to hurt you." He told me and I knew he was telling the truth, I started to relax.

"Did you tell anyone else?" I asked him.

"No, I didn't."

"Oh. Then why tell me?" I asked him.

"Because I trust you. Because we known each other for a long time now." He told me. I heard that the Alchemy family has a year after they turn 18 to take control over a pack of the parents choosing. That must be why he is here.
