Pilot 1-3

After school me and lena went to the cemetary.

Its where she writes in her journal.

I just go there to keep her company.

I just sat there while she wrote in her journal until a crow appears on our parents grave stone.

Well thats not creepy or anything. "I said confused.

And lena looked at what I was looking at she gets up and goes closer to it.

Okay. Hi, bird. "She said.

You do know your talking to a bird right? "I said worriedly.

She rolled her eyes at me.

Shoo!!! "She said the bird flies off.

That's what I thought. "She said.

I just rolled my eyes and stood up.

The crow reappears and fog starts to ascend around the cemetery.

A man is standing behind a tomb.

Me and lena start to run and I fell down then lena tripped right after me.

I stood up and saw the kid from school I really need to learn his name.

You okay? "He said.

Um ya I'm fine were you following us "I said.

Lena got up quick when she saw it was him.

No, I-a, uh, I-a just - I saw you fall. "He said.

Uh-huh, and you just happened to be hanging out in a cemetery. "I said

Lena was just staring at him.

I'm visiting. I have family here. "He said.

I felt bad now, lena gives me that look "like really. "

Oh. Wow. Tactless. I'm sorry. It's the fog, It's making me foggy. And then back there, there was this - this bird, and it was all very Hitchcock for a second. That is the bird movie, right, the Hitchcock? "I started rambling.

He smiled amused.

Umm I'm Emely "I said and stuck my hand out.

He shook it.

And this is Elena "I said pointing at my sister she stuck out her hand too.

I'm Stefan. "He said then he pulled something out of my hair it was a leaf, and he did the same with Elena.

Well its nice to meet you Stefan. "I said.

Since Elena hasn't said anything.

Its nice to meet you too Emely "he said

Oh please call me "em" everyone calls me that "I said smiling.
OK well its nice to meet you em. "He said.

I smiled.

Did you hurt yourself? "He asked me.

Hmmm? "I asked confused.

Did you hurt yourself? "He asked again.

Oh, uh, I don't know. "I said.

I checked myself but didn't find anything.

Lena did you hurt yourself.  "I asked her

Umm let me check. "She said.

She pulled up her pants from the bottom and she had a small gash.

Ooohhh that's not pretty "I said.

I saw Stefan turn around.

Are you ok? "I asked confused.

You should go and help her get that fixed. "He said.

Oh I'm fine its nothing big. "Elena said.

But when we turned around he was gone.

Strange.

And we just walked home.

3 hours later

I'm done Hallelujah. "I kinda screamed.

Hey keep it down up there. "Aunt Jenna said

Sorry. "I said.

Hey since you finished your homework and whatever you needed to do want to come to the grill to meet bonnie. "Lena said.

Yea sure let me get ready I'll be down in 5 minutes. "I said.

Ok. "She said.

And she left my room I finished getting ready.

I was wearing my black vans with some jeans and a black tank top and my leather jacket.

I went to lena's room to see if she was done but all she needed was to look for her jacket.

So I decided to wait downstairs.

Lena finally came.

God you take forever "I said annoyed.

She just rolled her eyes at me

Were meeting Bonnie at the grill. "I said to Aunt Jenna.

Okay, have fun. Wait, I got this. Don't stay out late, it's a school night. "She said smiling.

Well done aunt Jenna. "Elena said.

Oh, wait I forgot something you go ahead. I'll be right behind you. "Lena said.

I just shrugged while she ran back up stairs.

I opened the door and saw Stefan about to knock.

Oh. "I said surprised.

Sorry, I was about to knock. I wanted to apologize for my disappearing act earlier. I know it was...strange. "He said.

Oh its ok you don't like me I get it "I said trying to mess with him.

Oh no no no I like you your a very good person and -I cut him off before he embarresed himself.

Stefan I was kidding "I said with a smile on my face.

And he just looked relieved then, he started smiling.

And Elena came down and she saw him and me smiling at each other.

I saw the look on her face she was kind of mad, damn she is so oblivious.

Um how did you know where we live? "Elena finally spoke.

It's a small town. I asked the first person I saw. Um, I thought you might want this back. "He said giving her her journal.

Oh, I must have dropped it. I--thank you. "She said.

Don't worry, I didn't...read it. "He said.

And I smiled because he respects other peoples privacy.

And thats when he noticed I smiled at him.

Elena saw this and drew his attention back to her.

No? Why not? Most people would have. "She said

Well, I wouldn't want anyone to read mine. "He said.

I raised my eyebrow, and he noticed and couldn't help but chuckle.

Elena noticed and tried to change the subject.

Yeah. I'm just gonna...umm, you don't have to stay out there. "She said.

He tried coming in but he couldn't and, I found that weird.

I'm fine. Sorry, were you guys going somewhere? "He said.

Ya we were going to meet a friend at the grill "I said.

Before he said anything.

Would you like to come "I asked.

He just smiled at me.

Yes I would love too. "He said
