Chapter 7

I wake up to the sound of yelling. If it's the boys I'm going to murder them. Well not my brother he's all I have.

I got out of a bunk just as a dart zipped past my head. They're playing Nerf again.

I walk to the back and am hit in the shoulder by a dart.

" Ow!" I yell

" Sorry ." Mike says and continues shooting

" You ok?" Vic asks

" Yea I'm fine but can someone explain to me why you're having Nerf war at six o'clock in the morning?" I ask

" Because it's fun." Vic says

" You're lucky you're my friend or else I will murder you." I say

" Hey Cassidy want to join?" Jaime asks

I ponder on this . It will give me a chance to kick his ass.

" Fine but I'm with Vic." I say

He tosses me a gun and I catch it with a sly smile on my face. He goes pale and I laugh.

" You scared?" I ask

" Me? No way." Jaime says

" Sure keep telling yourself that." I say as I shoot him in the leg

He groans in pain and I raise my gun in victory. While everyone else just laughed and helped Jaime to his feet.

He flashed me a grin but I had already put back  on my grumpy face.

" So what are we doing today?" I ask

" Heading to another hotel." Vic says as he sits down on the couch

I go sit next to him since he was after all my best friend.

" What's up princess?" Vic asks

" Nothing. I'm just really tired. But yesterday was really fun." I say

" Well we're glad you had fun." Tony says as he sits down next to me

Mike and Jaime sit on the other couch and just stare at us. I was used to when the silences settled in.

It did happen a lot.

" I think I'm going to take a shower." I say

I go inside the bathroom and lock the door. I get in the shower and just relax under the warm water.

Jaime's P.O.V

I was worried about her. She's not as fine as she says she is. I know it.

I know she's lying. Why won't she trust us? Tony's her brother why doesn't she trust him.

I know it hurts Vic a lot too. Those two are inseparable . They're best friends. It's killing him not to know what's going on with his buddy.

We all adore her. I just wish she would tell us more about what's bothering her.

" We know you worry about her Jaime." Vic says

I look up at him and he's staring intently at me. I couldn't help it I was worried.

" Doesn't it bother you? She's your best friend after all." I say

" It does but if she doesn't want to tell us then she shouldn't have to." Vic says

" But I'm worried." I say

" We all are. Just because we don't know what's going on doesn't mean we can't care about her." Vic says
