Riker's POV

Rocky was out and Ross and Ryland were down stairs with Mom doing stuff in the kitchen. I assumed it was homeschooling stuff. Rydel was at her dance school. I grabbed my wallet and out it in my jeans and walked out of the house. I sat down at the park bench and played around with my phone. "Hey." Amy said walking over, "Hey. How are you?" I asked, "Good." She blushed. "How are you?" She asked as we began walking together. "Pretty Good." I said. We started talking about where we from. Turns out Amy is born and bred in Los Angeles, but she has family in Chicago. We walked for another good five minutes until we reached the FroYo place.

"What flavour do you want?" I asked, and looked over at her, as she opened up her purse. "I'll pay it's fine." I said, "You sure?" She asked, and I nodded. We got to the counter and Amy and I both said our orders. Once we grabbed our Frozen Yogurts we found a nice spot in a park. Surprising no one was around. "This was nice, thanks Riker." Amy said, "No problem." I said taking a scoop of my Frozen Yogurt. She looked out into the sun. "Joe was a jerk. He shouldn't have broken up with you." I said, "Thanks. I'm kinda glad we're not dating anymore. He would call me up at crazy hours of the night asking for sex. It wasn't the best." She added.

"Oh." I said, I really didn't know what to say. "So, what do you do?" Amy asked, "Huh?" I questioned her. "What do you do for a living?" She asked, "Oh. I don't have a job but I play guitar. I'm pretty good at it actually." I said. Hey, I am pretty good at it, there's no denying that. "Oh that's cool." Amy said standing up and throwing her cup away in the bin. I did the same soon after. "Today has been fun, thanks." Amy said, "No problem." I said, "Anytime." I said. I really wanted to kiss her I thought this would be the right time, but I knew deep down it wasn't. Amy grabbed her phone from her pocket. "Crap. Is that the time? I'm so sorry, but I have to go pick my brother up." Amy said and hugged me, so I returned it. Once she let go she walked away.

I was back at home sitting on the couch and Rydel walked into the room. "So, how was it?" Rydel asked, as she sat down next to me. "How was what?" I said not looking up from my phone. "You're date." She whispered. "She's really sweet." I said, and Rydel took my phone off me. "Give it back!" I said, "No. I want to know if you're going to go on another date with her or not." She asked giving me puppy dog eyes. "Maybe not..." I trailed off. "Why not?" She almost yelled it at me. "Because, I don't think I like her, to actually have a relationship with her." I said. Shit, did I just say that. Crap. Of course I want to go on another date with her. Oh god. How am I going to get myself out of this one. Rydel looked like she was about to cry. He began hitting me. "Stop it." I said and pushed her off me. She was still holding my phone. "What are you doing?" I asked as she started going through my stuff. "Deleting her number." She said and deleted it. "Why'd you do that?" I said getting frustrated, and standing up. "Because, I could." She said and chucked me my phone back and skipped off. Bitch, I hate her, I was thinking until Ross walked into the room. "Hey, we're going out for dinner. Go get changed, we're going somewhere fancy." He said and ran out. I heard Rydel dibs the shower, so I walked to her room. When I opened there was pink everywhere. Well, the walls were. I found her phone lying on her bed. I tried to unlock it to retrieve Amy's number but she had a lock on it. Crap. I heard the water turn off so I ran out her of room and got changed.

Once we arrived at this fancy restaurant we got seated. "Hi, my name is Amy and I will be your waiter this evening." I heard a familiar voice say. "Amy?" Ross said, "Oh hey guys." Amy said, "I didn't know you worked here." Rocky said, "There's a lot you don't know about me." She said mischievous. "Amy's parents own this restaurant." Mom tried telling us, but I didn't listen. I was starring at Amy in her work uniform. "Do you guys want any drinks?" Amy said as she walked to our end of the table. "Can we get two bottles of water?" Stormie asked, "Sure. Anything else?" Amy asked as she jotted it down, and we all ordered our separate drinks. I watched her make our drinks at the bar and I watched her serve other people. Damn, she was sexy. Everything she did. The way she put the pen behind her ear, the way and ripped paper off the note pad and the way and clean the empty tables. I suddenly had an idea. I reached for the water jug and 'accidentally' knocked Rydel with it and I dropped it and it splattered and hit the ground. I watched Amy place someone order, hoping she'd come over. Instead Dylan, her younger brother came over and clean it all up. While he was cleaning the glass up, Amy came over with our drinks, and new bottle of water. She helped her brother and they both walked off together.

Amy's POV

I noticed Riker purposely knock the water over and he purposely broke it so I could go over there and fix it. Nope, I wasn't going to over there. Absolutely not. But those eyes, and that bleach blonde hair and his smile, oh his- "How many oysters are in the oyster entree?" A guys said stopping my thoughts. "Oh, six. It's between two. So you'll get three each." I said, "I'm not an idiot." He said and placed his order. I walked over and helped Dylan pick up the glass. He looked at me, "Oh shut up." I whispered as I continued to blush. "Oh, and can you please serve table seventeen. That guy doesn't like me." I whispered and he looked over and laughed. We both got up and we went back to the bar. I was trying to make a cocktail when I noticed another three people walk and sit down on Riker's table. God, his sitting right under the light. His face his glowing, "Amy. Concentrate." Dylan's and gave me a tray. "Is that the guy you took you on the date before?" Dylan asked, "Yes. Isn't he-" "Rylands brother?" Dylan added, I was going to say dreamy but I didn't. "So?" I said, "Never mind." He said and went to order food from their table.

I saw a couple walk through the doors so I grabbed two menus and walked over to them, "Hi, welcome to-" I said, "Whatever, just get us a fucking table." The woman said and the guy looked up. "Joe?" I said shocked. "Just get us a table bitch." Joe said and slightly pushed me. "Why'd you push me?" I asked, "Because your weak, poor and filthy." He said and pushed me again. This time I fell to the ground. I felt my eye start to sting. "Why the fuck did you do that?" My brother Dylan said, coming over. "Because she's a-" Joe began, "I don't want to here it." He said and pushed him outside of the restaurant. And locked the doors. "Amy, you alright?" He asked and helped me up. "Yeah. Fine." I said, "You should really get some ice on your eye." He said and took me to the kitchen and sat me down. "Here." He said passing me a bag of ice. "Stay here for five minutes" he said and I placed the bag of ice on my eye, and he walked off. After five minutes he checked on me, "Your guy friend wants to know how you're going." He said, and I smiled and blushed. "Does my eye look okay?" I asked, "Amy, it's fine. Come on. We have work to do, before Dad tells us off." He said, and I got up and helped him out.

I was bar tending when Riker walked up, to order more drinks. "What can I get you?" I said not looking up, "Umm, two raspberry lemonades, a lemon lime and bitters, a jug of coke and your phone number." He said and I looked up, and passed him a drink. "Don't you already have it?" I asked, "Rydel deleted it from my phone." I said, "Why'd she do that?" I asked causally filling up the jug of coke. Riker opened his mouth, "Amy, hurry up!" Mom yelled. "I'll be there in a sec." I yelled back. "Dems, can you please help me?" I asked her, and she came over, and winked at me. "Tough having to work for your parents?" Riker chuckled. "Believe me, it's worse than you think." I said and on his receipt I wrote down my number. Demi gave me a strange look, and I gave him the tray of drinks and and I ran back into the kitchen.
