Two days after Lucy’s death, I was thinking to call the others maybe they could look for Natsu for a few minutes while I visit to Lucy’s wake, when I was about to call Zeref, my moment got broken when I heard a knock on the door, it was Natsu’s grandfather.

I stood up to pay my respect, then ran to him and gave him a hug.

“I’m going to cure him” he said.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“I know someone who could treat him, someone who knew how the game was created and could probably create a cure” he cleared.

“Are you bringing him back to Japan?” I asked curiously.

“I would love to, but the doctor advised me not to stress his body, he can no longer take more radiation and pressure so the operation will be held here” he explained.

I felt nervous, thinking why he just came? If he came 3 days earlier, maybe we could’ve cured Lucy. Here I am again!

Natsu’s grandfather went outside to accept a call as then in perfect timing, Gray arrives.

“Sorry to say this, but as I step inside the room, it just feels so empty without Lucy inside” Gray complimented.

I sighed, of course I understand. I wonder why they feel so affected when they took off Lucy’s life support, when she has been like dead for the past few months.

“Lucy inside here, watching her in life support hurts, but still I’m happy I get to see her, though she’s not smiling but at least I know her heart is still beating, before I stopped studying, after school I always get so excited to head here to see Lucy, to wait for her to wake up, though she’s not talking, not moving and though her brain is dead, hearing the fast and strong beats of her heart tells me she’s here and she’s alive. Now, where is she? When I entered the room, I can’t seem to find her beat anymore, the strong, fast and awake beats.” Gray spoke.

There seems to be a lot of words inside them that even if you don’t ask them, they say it themselves heartily.

“Gray, did you see Natsu’s grandfather outside?” I asked as an opening for the news.

He nodded, and so I continued talking.

“He found someone who could cure Natsu, I know losing Lucy was painful, but we have to be strong for Natsu too. Though, I feel like asking why did this cure didn’t arrived 3 days earlier, maybe we could’ve saved Lucy.” I said.

Gray didn’t respond to what I just said.

“I can’t manage to go back here for now, I’m sorry. I can’t tell when I could be strong again to fight alongside with you and Natsu. It’ll be great if Natsu gets cured sooner, too bad for Lucy too. Lisanna, I don’t have the strength to show myself to Natsu when he wakes up, we used to be on the same side of not giving up on Lucy. He just slept for weeks and wakes up finding out everyone gave up including me. Lucy’s burial will in 3 days. You should show yourself there too.” Gray finished as he stood up and bid his good bye.

I wonder when the operation will be, I just asked it, and then the doctor came and so readied everything for Natsu’s operation.

I wanted to call and tell them the news but I was thinking, maybe I could just surprise them when Natsu wakes up.

Natsu is transferred to the Operating Room, while waiting outside, I know operations are between life and death but I feel so happy, finally he’s waking up, didn’t even thought what’s going to happen if ever the operation fails. I headed to the small chapel located near the exit of the hospital.
