Chris' POV 

I sat down at the kitchen after my morning run. I haven't truly felt like myself these past few weeks. So i run an extra mile when i need to clear my head. 

I spent all morning trying to convince Amanda that Briana and I are more like siblings, but honestly i think i was trying to convince myself more than her. 

I heard lazy pants up and rummaging around in her room, I smile to myself as i hear her groaning. She finally comes down in my favorite coral shorts. They compliment her legs and her figure. I catch myself staring when she comes up and snatches my toast. 

"Hey!" I act surprised like it wasn't a routine, She just rolls her eyes and throws her hair in a bun "Toddles, Chris" she says smiling

"You look beautiful, Briana. You go knock the bullies down today or whatever it is you do." I say in response as i kiss her forehead

"Oh shut up, thanks." She tucks her stray strands behind her ears and spins around on her heels "Headed towards hell" She winks

she looks so beautiful when she does that. I catch my statement and shake it off and call Amanda since im off today.

Briana's POV

"2 hours of boredom, i was hoping for some action!" i smiled, "So Lucas, would you like someone to show you around?" He just shrugged his shoulders as I contacted Rebecca to come and introduce him to the school 

Shortly after he left, another person walked into my office, "What do you want?" I questioned the man in a suit

"To apologize, over coffee?" He stuffed his hands down his pockets

"Apology accepted but i pass, I'm very busy today " i lied

"Well your office is empty now. " he looked around

"I can see that." I did not once look up at him

"I don't usually beg, or get ignored actually." He cleared his throat,

"Theres a first for everything." I glanced at him while pretending to write something important on my notepad

"Well this egotistical arse will pick you up  at 7 for dinner tonight, since youre so busy now." His body slightly curved indicating a bow to dismiss himself. I rolled my eyes at him

The rest of the day I couldnt get the date off of my mind, I dont know why he was so infuriating and intriguing.

" I cannot believe I'm actually going" i sighed to my facetime call. 

"Wear the black dress." My colleague said over face time, "Classy in the front, party in the back!" I just shook my head and laughed 

"I don't care how nice I look for him, just nice enough for the occasion." I slipped into my outfit. "Its already 630 and i need to touch up my makeup, i'll text you after" i blew a kiss and hung up

Just as i finished applying lipstick, my door swung open, only to see Chris standing there in just his shorts, "You look nice." Chris said scanning me with his eyes, my whole body got hot. "Where are you going?" He sounded confused
