Today is my high school reunion. When I first got the invitation I hesitated weather to actually attend this reunion or not due to the fact that I didn't see most of my friends in a really long time. But I have come to a conclusion that I will.

I quickly got ready; I wore a quarter sleeved shirt and thigh length skirt, with some black translucent tights under them and black high heels. Adding to that I wore a beautiful necklace I got for my birthday from my brother. And for my hair I just let it loose, I brushed it a little bit I think it's looks fine.

I was now ready, so I went downstairs, grabbed my keys, locked the door and hopped in my car

I was now ready, so I went downstairs, grabbed my keys, locked the door and hopped in my car. I turn on the engine. I decided that I'd listen to some music on the way there. I turned on my iPod and started listening Melanie Martinez; I have always loved her songs, I don't really know why but I did. (a/n sorry if you don't like her you can replace her name with some other artist's name.)

-skip the car ride-

I have finally arrived. I walked out of the car and approached the huge building. I took a deep breath and slowly with my shaking hand I opened the door and walked in.

As I walked in, some of my friends recognized me and immediately ran towards me, hugging me.

I hugged them back as we started to talk and talk about their lives after school. Just then I heard a British accent say my name.

       "Y/N, hey!"

I turned around to lock my eyes with my best friend that I haven't seen in a really long time, Zayn Malik.

After high school was over Zayn went on with his own way and followed his path, chasing his dreams while I was stuck in this town with my normal life.

"Zayn! Hi! It's been a while!" I said as I hugged him.

He hugged me back and said "It's sure did."

Their was an awkward silence between us but then he broke it.

"So, how's life?" He asked, the smile that was on his face before appearing again.

"Eh, could be better. How's yours? I heard he you have a successful career now." I said as I nudged his elbow.

     "Yeah." He chuckled.

And then we started chatting and and having fun. We then exchanged numbers and agreed that'd we'd meet up one day.

That promise we made when we were kids. That 'Never forget each other pact' still isn't broken. I'm glad.
