Harry POV:

"How do you know you don't have feelings for Annabel?"

"I just know."

Liam tilted his head, calling my bullshit.

"I may have kissed her. Or she kissed me-"

"YOU DID WHAT?" Liam swerved the wheel, voice cracking as it took on a high pitch.

"Whoa calm down man."

"Do you know what Whitney's been going through?"

"I was trying to remember." I nodded back to the road.

"By kissing Annabel?" He doubtfully questioned.

I nodded, mumbling a yeah.

Okay maybe it was a little stupid.

"It's not like we're dating, dating." I defended.

"In her mind you still are Harry."

"What is that supposed to mean?" I quickly questioned.

"That night I took her home. She was a wreck."

"Fuck," I muttered.

"She was saying a whole bunch of crazy shit."

His words caught me off guard, "Like what?"

I flipped off the radio, hoping the new silence would lead him to continue.

"I don't know," he shrugged, "she seems to have it in for Andy."

"Andy Samuels?"

Does she even know him?

"Yeah. They dated." Liam nonchalantly spoke.

"W-What?"

"Oh shit."

Silence.

"What. The. Actual. Fuck."

"Sorry I forgot-"

"I knew I never liked him," I scoffed.

"How long were they together?"

"Do you really want to know?"

"Liam..."

"A year and a half."

The calculations didn't take long to do.

"When I was gone."

"Until you came back." Liam finished with a displeased sigh.

I tapped my knee anxiously, "why did they break up?"

"You," Liam whispered.

"Me?"

"Well it was one big mess really. Whitney chea-"

"-nevermind-"

"It's really not my place she should be the one to tell you all this." Liam through his hands up, stepping on the break as we pulled up to yet another red light.

This wasn't the time for Liam's conscious to kick in.

"Finish that sentence," I demanded, in to deep to turn back.

"She cheated on Andy with you."

"Oh," I breathed.

I was relieved that she must have still felt enough for me to come running back, but I wasn't sure if the fact that she was willing to do it at his expense made me amused or simply worried that my fate would end yet the same.
