Chapter 11: Where'd They Go
************
Recap of Chapter 10:
"You're sorry? Wh-Why? Wh-What hap-pe-ned?" My voice shook more than it ever has.
My ears rung as the officers words signaled through the line.
"I'm sorry Whit." Harry cooed, pulling me in closer to his body. "We'll get through this. It's going to be okay."

Whitney POV:
My mouth dropped as the words spoke clearly through the phone.
"W-what do you mean t-they're gone?" I shuddered.
The thought of Andy vanishing without a trace scared the living hell out of me.
The fact that Julie was with him,
There weren't words that could begin to describe the plethora of emotions running through my body.
"I'm sorry Whitney. We're going to do the best we can to find this guy. We promise you he wont get away with this."
Harry took the phone held limply in my hand, clicking it off and placing it on the coffee table.
The silence in the room was deafening.
"Do you think she went with him or h-he, you know." Harry nudged his head.
My nails dug into the palm of my hand, "I don't know what to think." I honestly whispered.
His hand tilted my chin up to meet his gaze, "Julie she, she's wanted him ever since..." My voice lingers off.
"Since what?"
"Since we broke up. She told me how I didn't deserve him for leaving him the way I did."
"That's bullshit." Anger fills his tone.
My eyes look up to his, "You know how they say friends before boyfriends?" He nods, "Well Julie was the exact opposite of that."
"How so?"
"She ran after him the moment he was single. She wanted him more than she cared about how I would feel about it," his face twists with concern and I quickly clarify, "back then of course."
"So what are you saying Whit?"
"She's vulnerable. That's what he prays on Harry and she's desperate enough to believe whatever the hell he tells her. She could be in serious trouble if this isn't against her will. But if she just left with him. If she honestly believes him over me that hurts. It really fucking hurts Harry."
Harry nods, but doesn't seem to know what to say.
"Do you think they will find him-" my voice is soft, "I mean find them," I quickly correct myself.
Harry runs his palm against my back, "All I know is I'm not letting you out of my sight. I'll die before he lays another hand on you."
The look in Harry's eyes is so deep I almost forget to breathe, I want to say it again but I'm afraid.
Instead I place my palm to the middle of his chest, coyly smiling up at him.
Harry nods in understanding, wrapping his left hand over mine.
"I don't want you to worry. I'll take care of you baby."
"You know that right?"
"You make me feel safe." I gesture to his arm locked behind my back that keeps our bodies just inches apart, "This makes me feel safe."
