My Friends and Him

We are now in front of their unit's door. Ayaw sana ni Kath na ihatid ko siya pero di ako pumayag. Sabi niya siya na lang muna ang magsasabi sa mga kaibigan niya pero as a respect for them, nagpumilit akong samahan siya.

She pressed the doorbell then I held her other hand.

"Dun ka muna sa gilid, Ge. Wag ka munang magpakita."

Umusog naman ako ng kaunti pero hawak ko pa din ang kamay niya. She pressed again the doorbell and after that, it opens.

"Kath!!!" Ahh I bet that is Christine.

I saw my Kath smiled shyly. "Ahh, hi Tin!"

"Michelle!!! Nandito na si Kath!" I heard Christine called, I am still hiding but still holding Kath's hand.

"Hoy Katerina! San ka galing ha?" Now its Michelle.

"Oh ano pang tinatayo tayo mo dyan? Bakit di ka pumasok?" Christine asked.

"Anong bitbit mo? May tinatago ka ba dyan sa gilid? Breakfast ba yan?" Ahh, I believe its Michelle. Now they noticed.

Kath slowly looked at me and smiled and turned her eyes back to her friends. She even scratched her head.

I faked a cough first and moved my feet, enough for her friends to see me.

"Oh my god!!!" Christine blurted while Michelle eyes were so big.

Her friends eyes went to our hands then back to Kath, then at me, then they looked at each other. Obviously, they were shocked.

"Katerina!!!" pareho kaming nagulat ni Kath sa tawag na yun ni Christine.

"Watsh the meaning of thish?" bakit kaya biglang naging ganun magsalita si Michelle? Gusto ko tuloy sana itanong kay Kath kung okay lang yung friend niya.

"Ahh, girls.. We will explain.." Kath said to them.

"Pasok! Dali!" utos ni Christine. Nagmadali naman kaming pumasok. Grabe naman! Parang nanay ni Kath si Christine. Sabagay, nabanggit na din sakin ni Kath na si Christine talaga yung parang pinaka ate sa kanilang tatlo.

Pagkapasok na pagkapasok namin, agad umupo si Kath sa sofa. Sumusunod na lang ako.

Nang makaupo kami ay umupo din sa tapat namin ang mga kaibigan niya. Parang bigla akong kinabahan? Parang mas matindi pa 'to kesa sa mga naging interview ko kay Tito Boy. Yung totoo? Kung sa mga kaibigan pa lang niya para may interrogation ng magaganap, paano pa kaya sa mga parents niya?

"Now, explain!" Christine said while Michelle was just staring at us.

"Ahh girls kasi.. Uhm, ano kasi.. Ahh.." My Kath stuttered.

I took the reign to speak. "Ahh girls..." I began then held Kath's hand and looked at her friends na nanlaki ulit ang mga mata.

"I just want to tell you that your friend Katherine, is now my girlfriend.." I slowly said while Kath is looking at me.

"HAAA?!?"

"OMG!!!"

Christine and Michelle simultaneously said. Napatayo pa sila kinauupuan nila.

"Girls, medyo OA ha?" Kath said.

Naupo naman ulit ang dalawa pero si Michelle nakahawak sa dibdib niya. Okay lang kaya siya talaga?
