Gravity Defiant

Chapter 7

I'm pretty sure I can get Hoop to distract the healers in the room while I go and do some healing of my own. Jack found me and was screaming my name down the hallway. I ignored him and flew faster. I could pick up a tingly feel. Lately when I sense Hoop i get that feel.

He must be down the hall.

"Hoop!" I cried as my voice echoed down the spiral stairs, "Hoop! are you down there?"

"Ya I heard about your-"

"No time to talk I need you help!" a few minutes later I heard a trickling sound from down the hallway,Then the sudden splashing of water gushing through the narrow space and right towards me. I braced myself in an air tight bubble.

The healers were swept down to the main interior. I was able to quickly slip through the door. Siverous was panting hard and his arm was tightly secured around the bar on the bed. The healers managed to stop the bleeding but I could still see giant gapes of flesh. He turned to look at me. All I could see was pain in his eyes. He turned away and looked up towards the ceiling. "It's alright. I'm here. " I sprinted to the medicine counter to find a vail of sleeping syrup. I made him drink the whole thing so he wouldn't witness what I was about to do, and because I didn't want to hurt him. After about five minutes he was half asleep. I couldn't wait any longer so I began working.

The water from the air around me got sucked out and put into his wounds. My body's gold dust formed around them, leaving fresh pink skin and feathers surrounding. His breath relaxed more. Thats when i left the room without a word.

I nearly slipped on the wet floor and cracked my head open. Hoop walked down the hall looking as pleased as ever, with his hands in his pants pockets. He took off his hood, reveling his bright brown blackish eyes.

"Well your plan defiantly worked," he said looking amused. "Are they ok?" putting my hands on my hips. "Ya I don't think that the will remember a single thing. " "and why is that?" I asked. The only two words he said were

"Gold dust. "
