"Coffee?"

Lauren nodded her head, taking the offer of Camila's hand and following her through to the kitchen.

"How do you like your coffee?" Camila asked.

"One sugar and a drop of milk, literally,"

"Okie dokes," the brown eyed girl said, spinning around as the kettle clicked, signifying that it was ready. Neither girl spoke as the coffee was being prepared but once Camila handed Lauren her cup, the green eyed girl aimlessly wandered into the living room, sitting down in the middle of the sofa.

"You need two seats?" Camila asked, following behind her, quirking an eyebrow. Lauren simply shrugged her shoulders. Frowning to herself, Camila wanted to see the smile that she only had seen a tiny bit of, so being playful, sat down on the sofa, swinging her legs onto Lauren's lap and giggling quietly. All the dark haired girl did was glance down at the pair of legs that were rested on her. Seeing that her attempt had failed, the brown eyed girl went to turn the t.v. on, instantly putting on the first episode of Friends that she could find. Whenever a funny bit came up, Camila would heartedly laugh and subconsciously glance at Lauren to see if she smiled but to no avail, the green eyed girl stayed stone faced. Sensing the sadness in Lauren and her cup of coffee left untouched, Camila decided to turn the episode off and put her attention onto Lauren. She took the coffee out of her hand and tipped in down the sink then sat cross legged on the sofa this time, facing the green eyed beauty.

"You know, I got cheated on a few months ago it was after three years and when it happened, obviously I was devastated. How I dealt with it? I cried a lot. I didn't eat. I questioned so many times as to why I wasn't good enough for her. I tired to change myself. Then after months of torture, I realised that what I was doing to myself wasn't going to get her back. So I moved here and since I got fired from my last job as I was too distracted in my 'situation', I put out a flyer for a roommate to help me with the rent. And now I've met you and I'm going to help you through it. I still don't know you that much but I can see from your eyes that you have many stories to tell and many ambitions I'm sure you can achieve. So listen to me Lauren with the emerald eyes, I want you to smile your pretty smile for me and I promise, you'll get through this."

The brown eyed girl concluded her small speech and let her eyes settle on Lauren who Camila hadn't noticed was now clinging onto her. A barely audible thank you was just about heard slipping from the dark haired girls lips as Camila wrapped an arm around Lauren's waist, holding her close.

"So, are you hungry?" Camila asked as Lauren straightened herself up. Eagerly nodding, Camila laughed to herself as she pulled her phone out.

"Is pizza okay?" The younger girl asked.

"Yeah, pizza's good but before we order, is it okay if I go back and get some of my stuff? Dinah should be out by now," The raven haired girl asked, feeling quite sad again.

"I'll go with you if you want, it'll be easier that way," Camila offered.

After about twenty minutes, the two girls were standing in front of Lauren's old home. "Sorry about the mess, I promise I'll be quick," Lauren babbled, opening the door and wandering in, taking a sigh of relief when she noticed that Dinah's jacket wasn't hanging up. Zooming around quickly, Lauren grabbed two large holdalls and filled one with most of her clothes (she didn't have many, just a lot of black stuff) along with some of her necessities, then quickly stuffed the other with her many notebooks, art supplies, speakers and keepsake box.

"That's the most of it," Lauren sighed, taking in all the memories that she had been through in this very space. "Let's just get out of here before I start tearing up again," The green eyed girl blurted out, grabbing Camila's arm as she did so, causing electric currents to shoot through the younger girl from this simple gesture.

"I'll take this one for you," Camila said, taking one of the holdalls out of Lauren's hand, not realizing the significant weight of it.

"Nope, I don't got it help me Lauren!" Camila cried dramatically in the middle of the street, causing a few odd glances here and there.

"Okay, okay enough with the theatrics," Lauren lightly laughed, swapping the holdalls over so that the smaller girl had lighter bag. As the two girls began walking back to their apartment, a noise erupted from Lauren's stomach, causing the dark haired girls cheeks to turn a light shade of pink.

"Hungry?" Camila asked, setting the bag down on the side of the walkway. "I'll order the pizza now so less waiting when we get back home," She helpfully suggested, pulling her phone out and dialling the pizza place. Lauren was too distracted to hear Camila asking her what she wanted on her pizza from one simple word. Home. But it was her new home wasn't it.

"I hope you're okay with pepperoni because you seemed to have zoned out again and not answer me," Camila pouted, adding more unnecessary theatrics to the situation.

"Pepperoni's good," Lauren smiled, "But don't pout, you look so sad,"

"Yes! Haha you're under my spell so whenever I pout I'll be able to get my own way!!" The brown eyed girl spoke, laughing.

"No I'm not!" Lauren was quick to defend herself as Camila began to torment her about how she has the power. And before they knew it, the girls had arrived back at the apartment and had just dropped the bags of in Lauren's room when the doorbell rang.

"You'll get it," Camila said, smiling.

"Says who? Not me," Lauren retaliated.

"Says the girl with the pout," The younger girl smirked, then widening her eyes and pouting. "Pwetty pwease?"

Huffing, Lauren stood up and walked over to the door as Camila stayed in her place on the sofa with a triumphant grin on her face. She decided to put on an episode of Friends as Lauren came back over, holding the warm box in her hands. Lauren sat down on one end of the sofa, still holding onto the pizza box then felt something on her lap, Camila's legs again. She smiled softly then settled the pizza box on top of the legs and opened it, letting the smell fill the air. Lauren grabbed a slice and just as Camila was about to, the raven haired girl slightly moved the box, just so it was out of the younger girls reach.

"That's the most evil thing that you could ever do. Ever." Camila said in a very serious tone.

"I'm sowwii," Lauren said in a baby voice, moving the slice of pizza in her hand towards Camila.

"Here, eat," She said, gesturing for Camila to take a bite, but as she was about to, Lauren quickly brought the slice to her own lips and ate it quickly. Glancing at the girl next to her, Lauren couldn't help bursting out into laughter at the shocked face of Camila. That laugh will be the death of me. Camila thought. But, damn, is it beautiful.

"Sorry, babe. Here you go, take the box," Lauren smiled, handing the box of pizza to the now blushing girl.

"What did I say? Why are you blushing?" The green eyed girl asked, obviously confused.

"No reason!" Camila hurriedly said, stuffing pizza into her mouth. Lauren shrugged it off then turned to look at the tv when all Camila could do was repeat what she just heard. Babe.
