"I may know someone who can help,"
Lauren looked into the warm brown eyes in front of her, searching for answers.
"I know what you've been through," Camila said, rubbing the back of Lauren's hands soothingly. "And I understand," She continued, "And I love you," She smiled, planting a soft kiss on the older girls cheek.
"I love you too," Lauren smiled, slightly confused at how the younger girl could help her. "Can we watch a movie now?" The green eyed girl asked quietly, wanting to forget about everything for a while.
"Por supuesto mi amor," (of course my love) Camila smiled, pressing play on the DVD player and snuggling up to Lauren, popcorn in one hand, hot chocolate in the other.
Do you ever look at someone and wonder what's going on inside their head?
Both girls stayed fairy quiet during the movie, enjoying the childish antics of Inside Out and also occupied by their thoughts, only a bit of movement when Camila went to make two more bags of popcorn.
Take her to the moon for me.
Camila heard a quiet sniffling from behind her at this part as Lauren teared up slightly.
"Aw babe," Camila cooed, turning to face the older girl and wiping her cheek before kissing her gently.
"I'm such a softy sometimes," Lauren laughed, rubbing her eyes and shaking her head.
"You're cute," Camila smiled, putting a piece of popcorn in her mouth, making the older girl blush slightly.
"Pass the popcorn please, babe," Lauren said, reaching for the bag but Camila quickly moved it out of her reach. "Heyyyyy," The green eyed girl pouted, causing the younger girl to giggle and run off, standing in front of the television and happily munching on the popcorn.
"So good," Camila mocked, a smug grin on her face.
"You know what also tastes good?" Lauren asked, slowly standing up and taking slow steps towards the younger girl, a dark glow visible in her eyes.
"What?" Camila questioned, continuing to eat the popcorn and maintaining eye contact with the older girl.
"You," Lauren spoke in a low tone, grabbing Camila's waist and kissing her passionately, biting down on her lower lip. "Babe?" The green eyed girl said, resting her forehead against Camila's, her breath jagged. "Distraction tactic," She smirked playfully, shooting the younger girl a wink then grabbing the popcorn and running off, jumping over the sofa and cheering theatrically.
"Ugh of course!" Camila shouted, running after the older girl who was laughing happily as she planned her next move. The brown eyed girl decided to grab a pillow and chuck it at Lauren who skilfully dodged it.
"It feels good to be winning," Lauren smirked, eating some more of the popcorn and circling the sofa as Camila followed her around. Suddenly, the younger girl grabbed another cushion and flung it at the older girl, who currently had a mouth full of popcorn, and caused the bag to drop to the floor.
"Why does it always end up on the floor?!" Lauren dramatically shouted, falling onto her knees, which Camila took as her chance to dive on top of the older girl and smother her face in kisses. "This is no time for kissing, this is serious," Lauren said, struggling to keep a straight face.
"Fine, see how long you can last without kissing me," The brown eyed girl challenged, standing up and flicking her hair back.
"Challenge accepted," Lauren said, shaking Camila's hand firmly. "Does the winner get anything?" She asked, putting a cushion back on the sofa.
