"I love you,"

Camila smiled after she let the words fall from her lips. Just like Lauren, she was scared to actually tell the older girl her true feelings, and also like Lauren, it felt right.

The brown eyed girl ran a hand through her hair as she walked out of Lauren's bedroom, and flopped down on the sofa, turning the channel to an episode of Friends. As the episode was nearing the end, Camila felt her eyes slowly shutting, feeling tired but then she felt a pair of lips, pressing against her neck. Turning around to face Lauren, Camila smiled as she thought about what she had just said to the girl recently and kissed her gently, still smiling into the kiss.

"How was your interview?" Lauren asked, sitting down next to the younger girl.

"I got the job!" Camila exclaimed brightly, "And there's this puppy there, Manil, and he's been through so much and he's adorable! It's great there, and my boss Ally, she-" Camila was cut off when she felt Lauren kissing her deeply.

"I'm proud of you, babe," The older girl whispered, staring into the brown eyes then reconnecting their lips, "Congratulations," Lauren whispered, biting down on Camila's lower lip, gently at first, then slightly rougher, causing the younger girl to let out a small moan.

"Are you hungry?" Camila mumbled against Lauren's lips, giggling a tiny bit.

"Mh hmm," The older girl breathed, cupping Camila's face and deepening the kiss at the same time that her stomach made a noise, making Lauren's face turn slightly red.

"I'll make you something," Camila said, pulling away and walking towards the kitchen, Lauren following behind. "I'll do some pasta, is that okay?" The younger girl asked, pulling out a pot.

"Yep, as long as it's edible I don't really care," Lauren replied.

Camila quirked an eyebrow at what the older girl said and Lauren saw it, laughing as she realised what Camila had thought of it.

Propping herself up onto the counter, Lauren watched as Camila began to boil the water and prepare a sauce, every so often spinning around to kiss the older girl then continuing cooking.
"Nearly ready," Camila said when she heard Lauren's stomach rumble again, just as she brought out two plates and cutlery.

"Lunch is served," The brown eyed girl proudly said, handing the plate to Lauren and walking into the living room with hers.

"No t.v, let's talk instead," Lauren said, sitting down on the sofa with her plate and instantly beginning to eat.

"Delicious," The porcelain skinned girl smiled, happy that she was eating.

"Thank you," Camila smiled softly, pushing the pasta around on her plate but not eating it.

"Aren't you going to eat?" Lauren asked, noticing that Camila had barely moved the fork in her hand.

"I'm not really hungry right now," The younger girl mumbled, placing her plate on the coffee table and walking to her room. Puzzled by Camila's quick change in personality, Lauren ate a couple more mouthfuls before following the younger girl into her bedroom.

"Can I come in?" Lauren asked, knocking on the door.

"No," Camila mumbled from the other side.

"Oh well, I'm coming in," The older girl said, ignoring the fact that the brown eyed girl had just told her not to come in.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Lauren asked, walking over to Camila who had her knees tucked up to her chest and her head held down.

"Camz?" Lauren asked, protectively wrapping an arm around the younger girl and pulling her into her side.
