"And I said that I love you,"
A huge smile spread upon Lauren's face as she realised what she had said that had put Camila in such a great mood.
"Just so you know," The younger girl said, picking up her bowl. "I love you," She smiled, staring deep into the emerald green orbs opposite her.
Both Latinas had an undeniably large amount of butterflies fluttering around their stomach and grins plastered on their faces; both also relieved that they reciprocated each others feelings for each other. Camila finished her banana split and went to cuddle up into Lauren just as the older girl also finished hers.
"I love you," Lauren whispered into the quiet room, resting her head on Camila.
"I love you too," Camila whispered back, turning to face Lauren and kiss her deeply. It was clear to feel that this kiss had so much more love and meaning to it then any other that the girls had previously shared. It was special.
"How's the rest of your work thingy gone?" Camila asked, settling back down against the older girl.
"Good, I think, nearly finished thankfully," Lauren replied.
"Have you heard from your parents yet?"
"No, I don't really want to, I'm in a good mood, maybe later," The brown eyed girl said, frowning slightly at the mention of her parents.
"Have you heard from yours about Christmas?"
"No, but that reminds me that I should message Taylor actually, I'll be right back," Lauren said, kissing the younger girls cheek and disappearing into her room to grab her phone.
"Hey Taylor! Any news from mum yet about me coming round?" Lauren typed into the message box, wandering back into the living room and sitting next to Camila. Within a minute, her phone dinged.
"Hey! We were actually talking about it earlier, she wants to face time. Is now okay?" The message read.
"Yeah, sure, give me two minutes and I'll call," The older girl replied, placing her phone down momentarily.
"Taylor said that mum wants to face time so is it okay if I turn the tv off for a bit?" Lauren asked the brown eyed girl.
"Yeah, sure," Camila responded, turning the tv off and sitting back next to Lauren. "Will it be about Christmas arrangements?"
"I should think so," The green eyed girl said, fixing the cushions and clearing away the rubbish. "I mean, would you want to come with me? You don't have to but... I don't know,"
"I would love to go with you," Camila grinned, pausing Lauren from her speedy clean up and kissing her delicately. "Because I love you," She smiled, sitting down on the sofa at the same time as Lauren as she dialled the number, awaiting for her little sister to pop up onto the screen.
"Hey Lauren!" Taylor chirped, the moment that her face was visible on the screen.
"Hey Taylor!" Lauren replied, trying to focus her eyes on something in the background. "Hi Mum," The green eyed girl said, much less enthusiastically.
"You look so much different, Lauren. What's happened to you? Have you been getting enough sleep? Eating enough? Don't tell me, you've gone and-"
"Nice to see you too, mum!" Lauren interrupted, smiling weakly and glancing at Camila who had a neutral expression on her face and was tactically avoiding the camera for now.
"So are you coming for Christmas? Who is this person Taylor has told me about?" Lauren's mum interrogated, taking the phone out of Taylor's hand which Lauren found quite amusing.
