"But I think I love you more,"
A huge smile spread across Lauren's face when she heard the words slip from Camila's mouth.
"Is that so?" Lauren asked, placing her hands firmly on Camila's hips and pulling her in closer.
"Yep," The brown eyed girl smiled, popping the sound of the 'p' then kissing the tip of Lauren's nose, running off excitedly to the box containing the Christmas tree. "I can't wait to put this up!" Camila exclaimed, wrapping one arm around the box and beginning to lift it up, however she underestimated the weight of the box, which made the younger girl drop it on her.
"Owww!" Camila shouted, dropping down onto the floor and cradling her foot. "Lauren, it's broken!" She cried dramatically.
"Stop being a drama queen," Lauren laughed, walking over to Camila and pulling her up. "See, you're fine," The green eyed girl smiled.
"No I'm not, you need to carry me," Camila smiled, staring up at Lauren with big eyes. The older girl swiftly swooped Camila off of her feet, swinging her around, making the brown eyed girl squeal with laughter.
"Okay, my foot is better now, put me down," Camila giggled, feeling slightly dizzy and holding onto Lauren's waist for support.
"You good?" Lauren asked.
"I'm good," Camila replied, picking up her small bag of decorations and emptying them out onto the sofa.
"So you're not going to help me move the box?" Lauren asked, one hand on her hip.
"Nope," Camila smiled cheekily, watching Lauren struggle in dragging the box across the apartment floor. "I have a great view anyway," The brown eyed girl smirked, staring at the older girls bum.
"Stop staring and help me," Lauren pouted, trying to open the box.
"Okay, okay," Camila smiled, standing up and pulling back one of the cardboard flaps. "Yay, it's pretty, like you," The younger girl smiled, running her hand over the tree and planting a small kiss on Lauren's cheek.
The next few minutes were spent with the two Latina's practically dragging the tree out of the box and having a hard time in getting it to slot into the stand. Finally, the tree was stood in the corner.
"Success!" Lauren said happily, high fiving the younger girl.
"Decorations!" Camila exclaimed, grabbing the bag and ripping open one of the boxes and looping the baubles onto the branches. "And the fresheners," She giggled, unwrapping a few and also hanging them up.
"Plug it in!" Camila cheered excitedly once everything was hanging up on the tree. "It's beautiful," She smiled, admiring the various colours that all popped up at once.
"Just like you," Lauren smiled, wrapping her arms around the younger girls waist from behind and placing delicate kisses along her shoulder. "I love you," The older girl whispered into Camila's ear.
"I love you too," The brown eyed girl said, spinning around and kissing Lauren softly, her hands draped around the older girls neck.
"Now what?" Lauren asked, admiring the tree and also the girl stood next to her.
"It's just started raining, maybe not go out," Camila said, glancing out the window and spinning around.
"We can cuddle and watch movies,"Camila smiled, linking arms with the older girl. "And I can get a big blanket and make popcorn...ooh! And hot chocolate! But nothing scary," The brown eyed girl happily said, intently looking up at Lauren.
"Sounds perfect," Lauren smiled, pecking Camila on the lips before disappearing into the kitchen to look for popcorn and hot chocolate.
"Babe! We have no popcorn!" Lauren cried dramatically, quickly followed by footsteps running into the kitchen.
