"Camila stop. Not now,"
Hearing the words slip from the older girls lips made Camila instantly withdraw herself from Lauren and push herself up so that she was standing.
"Sorry," She muttered, regretting her actions.
"No, babe, don't apologise," Lauren quickly said, standing up and grabbing the younger girls hands. "It's just that it's only been about a week still, so you know," The older girl said, not doing very well in explaining herself.
"No, you're right, I was wrong, I'm sorry, Laur," Camila said, giving Lauren a quick kiss on the lips before returning to the living room and beginning her research. Lauren sat back down on her bed, flipping open her laptop screen.
Do you want to cancel your reservation?
The green eyed girl clicked yes, feeling sadness wash over her as the younger girl must've forgot about their already over due first date. She's got a lot on her mind. Lauren kept telling herself, however still feeling disheartened so grabbed her notebook and began to doodle while her mind wandered.
"Lauren?!" Camila called from the living room around two hours later.
"Baaabe!" Camila cooed, yet still no reply so the brown eyed girl walked to Lauren's room, lightly knocking on the door and peeking her head round to see the peaceful figure of Lauren fast asleep, sprawled out on her bed."Lauren," Camila whispered, approaching the bed and glancing at the notebook belonging to the older girl which was laid open. It was a half finished sketch of the living room with popcorn scattered over the floor and the pillows askew. Camila smiled to herself, remembering that blissful evening. The detail that Lauren had put into the drawing was impeccable, even without the colour and it not being completely finished.
" Hola bella princesa de ojos verdes," (Hi beautiful green eyed princess) Camila gently said, moving the older girls hair out of her face. "Despertarse," (wake up) She said, kissing Lauren's cheek.
"Hmm?" Lauren sleepily murmured, her eyes fluttering open to see Camila's face. "What time is it?" The older girl asked, sitting up straight and leaning her head against the smaller girls shoulder.
"Just gone two, I made food," Camila smiled, taking hold of Lauren's hand whose eyes seemed to momentarily brighten at the sound of food.
"Yay, I'm hungry," Lauren smiled, standing up and stretching as Camila walked out the room and she followed.
"Oh my gosh that smells so good!" Lauren exclaimed, walking into the living room to see a platter of food laid out.
"Arroz con pollo!" The green eyed girl gasped, a broad smile appearing on her face. "I used to eat this all the time, I loved it!" Lauren said as Camila told her to sit down then handed her a plate.
"Thank you, babe," Lauren said sweetly, kissing Camila before she took a mouthful.
"Holy shit, where did you learn to cook like this?" The porcelain skinned girl asked, her mouth full of food.
"My abuela taught me," The younger girl casually replied, happy that Lauren enjoyed her cooking. After about twenty minutes of eating and Lauren constantly complementing Camila on how good the food was, there was one piece of chicken left on the platter dish. As both Latinas eyed the food, Camila suddenly leant forward, capturing Lauren in a deep kiss, swiping her tongue over the older girls lips and gripping her hair tightly. Pulling back, Camila smirked at Lauren's dilated eyes and slight shocked expression on her face.
"Distraction tactic!" The brown eyed girl grinned, grabbing the chicken and happily biting into it, leaving Lauren pouting.
"Sorry, babe. You snooze, you lose," Camila grinned, licking her lips as Lauren placed her empty plate on the coffee table.
