Chapter 33

At 3 am I wake up to my throat being on fire and I'm pissed

"Wes wake up" I croak shaking him awake and when he shot up he instantly knew something was wrong and we woke up the other 2

"I have to see a doctor like now" I say and they all look at me in shock my voice is horse and if its not better in a few hours we're all screwed so we were panicking Keaton at least had the since to call Simon and as most would expect he was not happy at being woken up at 3am but he got a doctor to come see me

"ok so it looks like bronchitis mixed with stress and her injury I can give you antibiotics throat lozenges and cough syrup but none of that will be a quick fix I advise that you not strain your voice more then you absolutely need to personally I don't think you should perform tonight but seeing as you will anyways I advise you to rap as it does not strain your voice to as much as singing would but that is just my opinion you can take it or leave it you should be fine next week" the doctor said and sent us off it was already 6am and me and the boys were panicking

"So what are we going to rap?" Keaton asked and I looked at him shocked

"Are you insane we can't change the song now we perform in 12 hours" I croak and drew gave me the look the one that pretty much says it doesn't matter what your opinion is

"It has to be something we have down preferably something we can change up and add to easily" Wes said

"how about my band by D12 I mean we are always goofing off with that song and BeBe’s already got her own part she added to the end and its Spanish even though it was for fun we know it backwards and forwards" Drew said and I sighed and we went straight to the studio to rehearse it but of course nobody let me speak at all because they were scared my voice would get worse at about 3 other people started showing up and at 4:30 Simon came to us

"So what's the verdict" he asks

"We had to change the song the doc said she may be able to rap without straining her voice too much but more than likely if she really sings it will get worse" Keaton said seriously and I nodded

"Ok do you have the song?" he asks

"Yes it’s our twist to my band by D12" Wes said and he nodded again

"Do you have a routine?" he asked

"Sort of" I say hoarsely

"Explain" he says turning to Keaton probably knowing he will give the best explanation

"we've been goofing around with this song for a few years like even before BeBe joined the band we have it loosely Choreographed but it’s mainly stupid stuff we do while goofing around it's a song about Eminem pretty much acting like he's a diva and making fun of himself but it's more of a goofy song not serious but we got a twist on it and we have it down trust us" Keaton says and Simon nods

"I don't really have a choice but to trust you it’s a risk you know this will be your second Eminem song you just did one last week" he says and we nod

"we understand that but this is our only choice we're not going to chance her voice getting worse by letting her sing Avril and we don't have time to learn another song but don't worry we got this" Drew said and he nodded and left and we went back to basic choreography and 10 minutes later my phone starts ringing so I toss it to Wes and then grab my mini notepad and pencil I have been using to communicate

"BeBe’s phone Wes speaking your on speaker" he said

"Wes? Where's BeBe is she ok?" Liam asked and I started writing on my pad

'I'm fine are you going to see the show tonight?' I wrote

"She’s fine are you going to see the show tonight?" Wesley asked
