Yeah ok, so in this Soul doesn't have the power to turn into a scythe and doesn't have pointed teeth or red eyes, but don't worry it'll all be fixed soon
Soul POV
I sat down in the chair of the auditorium and frowned "welcome all you young minds ready to learn" our speaker said running on stage, I groaned and looked over at the person beside me, my girlfriend Maka
I grabbed her hand and intertwined our finger "after school do you want to meet at the fro yo place down the street" I whispered quietly
She looked over at me and smiled "of course, but pay attention" she said giving my hand a squeeze at the last part
I rolled my eyes and looked back at our speaker, we were on a field trip to a science museum and we had the option not to go but Maka was going and I needed an excuse to get out of class "alright kids I know it might not sound possible but we've invented a way to get super powers, with this" he paused as two guys rolled a chair and small machine out onto the stage "this will alter your atoms so that you can do super human things, making it seem like you have super human abilities" he said, sounds cool enough, "we haven't tested it yet and are going to soon but before we do we're gonna let you kids explore the museum, now be back by 1:00 and then the test will begin"
I got up and Maka pulled me away, we walked for a bit before I got an idea "hey Maka let's find Black Star and Tsubaki" I said pulling her in the direction I saw them going
"But Soul we were just over there" Maka complained
"I know but I need to find Black Star" I said
"Look at me I'm Black Star the real star in here" I heard the familiar blue headed monster scream
"And I found him" I said starting off in the direction of his screams, when we found him we was standing on top of a giant globe staring down at everyone "Black Star get down" I yelled
He hoped down and made an almost perfect landing "hey Soul what's up" he said, Tsubaki stepped up beside him and looked like she was going to Tsubaki chop him but she didn't
"Nothing I just wanted to find you so you could look after Maka while I go to the bathroom" I said
Maka glared at me "really Soul I can look after myself" she said
"And I know you can but other schools joined this trip and I can't have random guys flirting with my Maka" I said "now stay with Tsubaki I have to run" I turned and dashed off towards the bathroom, but once I got there I made a hard turn and ran for the Auditorium, when I got there I opened the door a bit and saw the machine from earlier, I looked at the clock the was above me, 10:30 assuming this'll take two hours I'll have thirty minutes to test this thing, hope Maka doesn't get to worried, i stepped in the room and bolted to the machine
I looked at it for a minute and flicked the on switch, I sat down in the chair and let the machine do its thing, It pricked me and stuck needles in my neck but all in all it wasn't to painful, that is until the machine put a metal helmet on my head and started to shock me, I yelled in pain and tried to move my hands so I could rip it off but I couldn't move my body, d**n it, I gave one last effort to move and get away but it failed and the machine just kept shocking me more and more
"Soul" I heard the familiar voice of Maka echo through my brain, and with that my body decided to move again, I slowly brought my hand up and was about to rip the helmet off when it suddenly stopped "Soul you idiot" I looked up and Maka was staring down at me with tears in her eyes "you know this thing could have killed you, why did you do that" she said worry and anger clear on her face
