Aphmau POV (Aphmau is 6 now and doesn't remember her parents or that she is human)
I was playing with my brother Dante outside the cave when someone pounced on me, I turned to see laurance "get off you Casanova" I growled
"I don't wanna" he said sitting on me
"Dante help" I called, after a second the weight of laurance was lifted off of me
"Stay away from my sister" Dante growled
"It's not like it would work out anyway" Laurance grumbled
"What do you mean" I asked ready to pounce
"Nothing, he means nothing" Dante said quickly
"Aphmau, Dante come back I have lunch" our mother called
Dante crouched down and I hopped on his back, he spread his dark blue wings and we flew up to the cave
Unlike laurance and Dante I didn't have wings or scales, I had a tail but it was purple and furry, my mother said I was just under developed
When we got to the cave Dante and I dug into the deer mom brought us, after that Dante and I ran back outside
"Get out of my territory" I growled playfully at him
"Your territory, ha, don't make me laugh" he said crouching
I crouched as well ready to pounce, jumping at him I swatted his muzzle and growled
He jumped up and flew in a circle around me "No fair, you know my wings didn't develop" I snarled
He landed and jumped on me "But your nice and fluffy tail did" he snickered
Hiding my tail, my face turned red out of anger "Get off" I growled
As he did it started to rain, I wasn't much of a fan of the rain so I looked around for something to hide under
I saw a big square thing off in the distance, I ran to it and saw an opening, but when I jumped threw the opening a heard a crash
When I sat up there was clear stuff all over the floor, when I picked one up it cut me "ow" I dropped it and growled
Getting away from the pile of clear sharp stuff I bumped into something, before I could react to it I was pinned to the ground
Looking up there was a human boy on me, he had blonde hair and icy blue eyes "Get off me" I said, he looked at me confused
"Who are and what are you doing here" he said "and why won't you speak English"
"What the heck is English" I snarled trying to get him off, then I remembered mother said English was the language that humans speak
I tried to speak it since mother sent me to the dragons that could speak it "who...are...you" I asked unsure if what I said was what I meant to say
"I already asked that, now tell me" he said
"Aph...mau" I said, suddenly his weight was lifted off of me, looking around Dante had forced his way in the box
I ran and stood beside him "Are you ok Aphmau" he asked
"I'm fine but how did you get in" I asked
"I broke the wall" he said looked over to the giant hole in the wall
"D-d-dragon" the boy said backing up against the wall
"Now...your...name" I said to the boy
"G-Garroth" he said "don't hurt me"
"Gar...roth...where... Are your... Parents" I asked
"Don't have any, I live alone" he said "what about you"
"At...the...cave" I said, turning to Dante I said "should we give him to Laurance's mother"
"Would she even take care of him" he asked
"I don't know but I don't want him as my foster brother" I said
"Ok let's take him to laurance" he said
Turning back to the boy "Come...get...on Dante" I said, he shook his head no
"He'll hurt me, and you can't make me" Garroth said
Suddenly the ground shook, running out the hole Laurance's mother was there "There you are, your mother Is worried sick" she said
"Sorry Luna but Aphmau got caught up with an orphaned human" Dante said
"Really, where is he or her" she said moving her head to the hole, she looked and saw Garroth cowering there
"Your sure he has no parents" she asked
"Yes he said so himself" I said "and we were debating wether to bring him to you or not"
She did her best to turn to Garroth "Human come we will take care of you" Luna said, she could speak English fluently but had bad grammar
He shook his head no "please no, I don't want to" he said
"Take care of you someone has to, you can't be alone forever, dragon honor I will not harm you" she said
He got up slowly and walked over to Luna "you promise not to hurt me" he said
"Promise, now please come out" she said, he walked out of the dark box
I walked up to him and looked him in the eyes "Learn...to speak...dragon.... I will...teach you" I said
"Ok, how old are you anyway" he asked
"Six" I said, turning back to Luna "are we ready to go"
"Yes get on" she said laying down, I showed Garroth how to properly get on Luna
I got on Dante and we flew home
