Garroth POV
I woke up in a bed that was not my own, I looked around and the walls were a light purple and I remembered that I was at Aph's house, I sat up and stretched before I hoped out of the bed, I opened the door and came face to face with Aphmau who looked like she was about to knock "oh, good your awake, I fixed your suite and I made breakfast, so come on down" she grabbed my hand and pulled me down the steps, I blushed as she grabbed my hand and pushed me so I was sitting on the couch "stay" I frowned at her command, I'm not a dog, i thought.
After a minute she came out with my suite, all fixed up, the stitching was perfect along the body but you could clearly see where she patched it on my mask "not to complain, but why can I hardly see where you patched the body but it looks like a scar on my mask" I asked pointing to the stitching that looked like they belonged on Frankinstien.
"Well I could have patched it to look perfect but in my personal opinion it looks cool" she said with a wink.
"Well then tell me how it looks" I said "give me a second" I got up and ran to a closet to change, once I changed I pulled my mask on and stepped back out "so does it look as cool as you thought" I asked.
She smiled at me "it doesn't" she said, I frowned "it looks even cooler" I smiled.
"Well looks like Flare Blitz is back in business" I said with my signature smirk.
"And the big hero gets to take the day off, come on Garroth lets have some fun today" Aph said pulling my mask off.
"Sure, let me put something on over this" I said, I turned around and walked back up to the room she let me stay in, I put the jacket on, stuffed my mask in the hood and pulled the pants on that she gave me.
I walked back down and I heard a clap, I quickly made my fire sword appear and looked around to find Aph confused "something wrong Garroth" she asked, I put the sword away and sighed.
"Nothing it's just, my rival Ice Bane always does a clap thing before he uses his ice make attacks, and it's just on instinct that I made my sword" I said "now are we going or not" I turned towards the door with my hands in my jacket pockets.
"Good, let's go" she said jogging after me "so I was thinking first we could get some ice cream" she started to walk backwards in front of me.
"Sounds great" I said
~after they buy the ice cream~
Aph and I are sitting on a bench eating our ice cream, I shove the last of my cone in my mouth and basically swallowed it whole "really Garroth you need to chew so you don't choke" Aph nagged at me, I shrugged and got up.
"Be right back" I said walking back over to where we got the ice cream, I got a plain snow cone and walk back over.
"What did you get that for" Aph asked, I didn't respond I just held it over my mouth and breathed a little fire over it so it melted in my mouth "Garroth, don't do that, someone might see and find out that you're Flare Blitz" she whisper-yelled.
"What's wrong, can't handle a little fire" I asked, I fake yawned and breathed out a little fire, she glared at me for it.
I heard a clap a little ways behind us and I started to listen more clearly "Spear" was what I heard next, I quick led grabbed Aph and pulled her to the ground, as we fell I pulled my hood up and looked in the direction I heard the word spear, Spears made of ice were flying towards us.
I held up my hand up and let fire shoot out of it, melting the spears as they got to close "go and hide" I said jumping up, I reached inside my hood and pulled my mask on, I pulled everything else off and I was left in my super suite, I ran to where the ice spear came from and saw Ice Bane standing there "that's low Ice Bane, you never pulled sneak attacks before" I said smirking
He smiled "well it seems to have worked well, you're here aren't you" he said smirking, I don't like this he never taunts unless he thinks he's sure to win, I got ready to fight him with clenched fists
"I don't know why you decided to come back so soon but I'll beat you no matter what" I said throwing a fire ball at him, he sidestepped and watched it fly by
"Well then you seem to be all better, and you even had someone patch your suite, but they did an awful job on the mask" he said
He was starting to get on my nerves "less talk more fight" I growled running at him with fire on my fist
"Now now Flare, no need for that" he said, I look a moment to see if he was planning anything, then I saw Ice flowing from where his foot was, right to where I left Aph.
I turned and ran back to where I left her "Aph!!! Aph are you ok" I got there and saw her wrapped in ice, I placed a hand on the ice and tried to melt it.
"It's no use brother, that ice will not melt on any ordinary manner" Ice Bane said coming up behind me, I turned and shot a fire ball at him.
"Don't call me brother, for I am not yours" I growled "now tell me how to release her"
"You seemed to have taken a liking to this girl, I might keep her" he said "well I guess I'll be seeing you" he clapped his hands and put them on the ground "ice make portal" a white circle appeared around Ice Bane's feet and he slowly descended into it, I shot fire at him but he was already gone.
"Garroth!!!!!" I heard Aphmau's panicked voice behind me, I turned and saw her going down inside her own circle, I ran over and tried to grab her but she was gone as well.
"Aphmau!!!!" I yelled, I slammed my fist on the ground and growled "he'll pay, I'll kill him" I got up and walked back to my house, when I got there I grabbed my phone and called the only other person who knows that I'm Flare Blitz "Laurance, get over here now I have something important to tell you" I said hanging up.
I changed out of my super suite and waited by the door tapping my foot in irritation, I heard a knock and quickly opened my door to reveal a smirking Laurance "so you needed me" he asked stepping inside.
I slammed the door closed "he took her, that Bas***d took her" I growled punching the wall.
"Woah Garroth you never cuss, and who is this her" Laurance asked his smirk not disappearing.
"A girl I met named Aphmau, Ice Bane took her on my watch and now I can't forget about it" I said "we both know where Ice Bane's hide out is, and I have a plan, you lure him out and I finish him off in one blow"
"Sound good, let's do it tomorrow" he said giving me a thumbs up "well I'll be seeing you, bye" he walked out.
I jumped on my bed and laid there for the rest of the night.
Aphmau POV
I saw Garroth run for me but he was to late, I was gone, but when I reappeared I was staring at Ice Bane "what do you want with me" I growled.
"Now now, no need for that, I'm just using you as bait, I know Flare Blitz will come for you and after I kill him I'll let you go" Ice Bane said putting a hand on my cheek.
I bit his hand and when he yanked it away I spat the blood out "you can't kill him, I won't let you" I snarled at him
"Oi feisty one aren't you" he said shaking his hand and wrapping it in ice "that's the way I like them, but you know" he pulled his mask up until I was staring into his sharp blue eyes "I have no problem killing you to" he chuckled menacingly
I growled again and he put his mask back down, he turned and started to walk out "wait get back here" I yelled after him, all he did was throwing his hand up and wave at me, then I was left alone in the darkness.
