"Hey Aphmau you know the lovers comet is happening tonight, and I'm having a party do you want to come" laurance asked me
"Sure when is the party starting" I said turning to face him
"It starts at 9:00 and ends at midnight after the comet passes by" laurance said
"I'll be there" I said "see you then", as I walked home I thought on the lovers comet, it happens every thirty years and it is said that the person or thing your with you will be in love with for the rest of your life. Laurance said that his mom and dad were under the comet when they met and they're still together after 50 years.
I got home and Zoey asked why I was gone longer than I said "laurance invited me to his lovers comet party, and I'm going to go" I said
"Ok may I come" Zoey asked
"I don't see why not I mean it is a party" I said
Time skip~party time
It was 11:30 and laurance won't get away from me so I told him I was going to the bathroom and to wait for me outside the door, so when I got in the bathroom I climbed out the window and into the backyard from there, I weaved my way threw people over to the table with drinks, I got a cup of punch and started back into the crowd.
It was 11:59 and the comet was about to go right over everyone, I kept walking through the crowd because I saw laurance coming towards me, as I walked among the crowd I bumped into some guy, when I looked up I found myself looking into icy blue eyes and I saw sandy blonde hair out of the corner of my eyes
"Hey sorry I didn't mean to bump into you" I said
"Well I'm glad you did" he said in his deep British voice "I'm trying to get away from Azura she won't leave me alone"
"Same but laurance won't leave me alone" I said with a giggle
"5...4...3...2...1...." Everyone shouted and the comet was over us, I looked back into the boys eyes and realized he was...Well...hot
"I'm Aphmau" I said shyly
"I'm Garroth" he said with a smile, I returned the smile. He started to lean in and I felt my heart skip a beat, but I leaned in as well
Garroth closed the space between us and I kissed back
Garroth and I started dating, and after 3 years together he asked the question and I said yes. 27 year went by with us together and the comet came again but one thing popped into my mind
