Flare Blitz POV
I did a back flip to avoid the stream of ice that was shot right at me, though I was slightly unsuccessful when it cut through my red suite (pic above) "Give up, you won't win" the man before me said, Ice Bane, my rival, I fought to protect people unlike him who fought to control the earth, my name is Garroth Ro'meave and I am the hero Flare Blitz, I control fire so Ice Bane and I have another reason to hate each other since he controls ice
"Never, and defiantly not to the likes of you" I said wiping my wound off and flicking the blood off my hand, I held my hand up and fire shot out of it
Ice Bane clapped his hands together and held them out in front of him "ice make shield" he said and a small wall of Ice appeared to block my flame
Ice Bane held out his hand and a sword of ice appeared, I blew some fire downward and reached into it, I pulled out a sword made of fire "Let's do this" I said lunging forward
I swung my sword low and he jumped over it, he brought his hilt down on my head and I held the spot as I jumped away, he shot some ice at me and I opened my mouth, fire bellowed out and I ran at him, I stabbed him through his shoulder and he put his left hand on my chest. My eyes widened in realization, he would never let me get this close "ice make.." He started I jumped up and released my sword "spike" a spike of ice shot forward and pierced my gut
I groaned and blood started to flow out of my mouth and I grabbed the spike, at my touch it slowly started to melt away "ice make claw" his right hand was now just three claws made of ice, he slashed my face and tore my mask, I finally melted the spike and pulled the rest from my stomach
I held my hand in the air and fire started to circle around me "Phoenix Fire" I said, the fire took the shape of a bird and it flew straight at Ice Bane, he screamed as it hit him and fell down
He slowly got back up "you may have won this time but I'll be back" he said, he smacked his hand on the ground and ice spears flew at me, I've seen this attack before and knew what to do, I ducked and dodged but the wound he gave me earlier slowed me down and one spear got my leg, I stumbled back and fell off the roof we were fighting on, luckily I landed on some not hard trash bags
"Ugh getting beat is so not cool" I groaned, I stayed put hoping I wouldn't bleed out while I couldn't walk but that wasn't the case, I started to lose consciousness but right before I blacked out I heard a gasp and fast footsteps coming closer
Aphmau POV
I was standing on a building watching the fierce battle between Flare Blitz and Ice Bane, and of course I was rooting for Flare Blitz because the people who didn't were crazy, as the fight came to its end I saw Flare Blitz get knocked of the building and Ice Bane run away, what a coward, I thought, I looked around for anyone who might actually be dumb enough to stick around when their fights broke out and jumped from my perch on the ledge with a graceful landing, I race walked over to where I saw Flare Blitz fall but when I got there I gasped, I knew he took a few hits but not that bad, I ran over to pile of trash where a now unconscious Flare Blitz was laying, I had to get him to my house but how could I, the news guys would be here any second and I can't just drag a hero out of an ally, so I did the only thing I knew how to do in this situation. I dragged him to the dead end and leaned him up against the wall, I put my hand on the wall for a second before turning around and taking a few steps forward, I clapped my hands together and held them out in front of me "Dark make illusion" and a perfect image of the wall appeared in front of me
Garroth POV ~after a bit of R&R~
I woke up and saw the sky "well at least nobody found me" I said, I put hand on the top of my head where Ice Bane struck it earlier and felt the soft presence of my sandy blonde hair, I looked around and saw a pile of red that was my suite, and then I looked down to see I was only in my boxers "What the He..." I started
"Oh good your awake" I heard a girl say, I looked around rapidly and saw the girl who spoke, she had long Raven black hair and copper eyes, she's kinda cute, no stop it don't think like that, I pushed the thought out of my head and looked back down and noticed several strips of cloths wrapped around where I got stabbed "it's not much but I cleaned your wounds and wrapped them in some cloths I found" the girl said "but now that your awake I can actually do something helpful" she got up from where she was sitting and walked up to me
I flinched away because one, I was in my boxers and had nothing else to change into, and two, she now knows I'm Flare Blitz and could spill my precious secret "what are you going to do" I asked glaring slightly
"Heal you duh" she said like it was an obvious answer "now stay still" she clapped her hands together like Ice Bane does and on instinct I made a flame dagger appear but quickly made it go away, she held out her hands and touched my chest, I blushed at her touch and a warm sensation went through where my wounds were, and its not because I have fire in my veins
She pulled her hands away and unwrapped my bandages, my eyes widened in shock, it's all healed, I looked up at the girl and all she did was smile down at me "who are you" I asked
"I'm Aphmau" she says
"I mean, how do you have powers" I asked
She stopped smiling and scratched the side of her head "well I was born with it I guess" she said scratching the back of her head nervously "but anyway, we need to get you home, it's getting dark and my house isn't to far let's go there"
"Yeah but there's a problem there" I said
"Really what's that" she asked
I sweat dropped and motion to my body "I'm only in my boxers and I don't have anything else" I said
"Right, I've got this" she said, she started to dig through a dumpster until she came back out with some pants and a jacket, she held them out to me
"Really I don't want to be reduced to wearing garbage" I said "I think I'd much rather walk around in my boxers"
Aphmau picked up a paper bag and chucked my suite in it "well I guess you don't mind if everyone stares at you, and who knows the news team could still be out there, and I'd much rather not have people think we did anything back here" she said calmly standing up, I quickly grabbed the cloths and put them on "good now let's go"
We didn't talk at all the entire way to her house, it wasn't really awkward though more of a comfortable silence, when we get there she opens the door and all I see is purple "well I bet I could guess your favorite color" I said jokingly, she giggled and nodded "well thanks for letting me come"
"No problem, and your suite needed a fixing so I thought I might take care of that as well" she said running off to where I assumed her room was, I walked over and sat on the couch quickly taking off the jacket she grabbed for me, she turned the corner and looked at me "you can watch some tv, just make yourself at home" she said before disappearing again
I grabbed the remote and was instantly hit with a theme song (song above) "well looks like I didn't miss much" I watched until Aph came out with a tray of food
She sat it down in front of me "how bout you tell me your name now" she said, she looked back at the TV "I see your watching soul eater"
I took the tray and put it in my lap "yeah it's a pretty good, and my name is Garroth" I said picking up some bread and stuffed it in my mouth
"Garroth, I like it, it's really unique" she said with a smile which I just had to return
"Thanks I like your name to" I said winking at her, her smile got bigger and a light pink tint painted her cheeks, when I finished eating I stood up "well I guess I should be heading out, I wouldn't want to impose" I said grabbing the jacket and heading for the door but I stopped when I felt Aph's warm hand on my shoulder
I looked back at her "why not stay for the night, it's really late and you shouldn't go out when it's this dark" she said "I have an extra room you can stay in" I smile and nod at her, she led me to the room and I flop on the bed asleep
Anybody want to guess who Ice Bane is, cause I'm stuck between two people. Also the jacket that Aph grabbed for Gar is going to be an exact replica of Soul's jacket from soul eater
