Garroth POV
I was sitting in a tree outside of Ice Bane's hide out waiting for Laurance to cause his commotion to draw him out, I don't get it where is Laurance, I was waiting for a few more minutes before the door to the hide out opened and Ice Bane walked out dragging something behind him, when I looked closer I saw it was Laurance, no, I thought
"Hey Flare, come on out, I know you're here" Ice Bane said throwing Laurance's bruised and bloodied body in front of him "SHOW YOURSELF OR HE DIES" Ice Bane made his ice sword and held it over Laurance's head
Quickly I jumped down and ran over to him "now let him go" I growled
"Oh your so gullible" Ice Bane said, he kicked Laurance and he started to.....melt "why would I have a use for him when I have the girl you oh so desire to save even after you only knew her for a day" I glared at him and wondered where Laurance was
"What have you done with them, both of them" I growled throwing a fire covered punch at him
I was throwing multiple punches but he was dodging all of them "now now, I haven't done a single thing to them, brother you make to many assumptions" he said
I kicked him hard in the gut "what did I tell you about calling me that" I growled, I breathed out a giant flame at him
"Ice make shield" he said making his usual barrier
"Not this time" I jumped over the shield and made fireballs rain down on him, I stopped doing that and saw that he was gone, I twisted in the air to look for him
"ice make sword" I looked up and he was getting ready to bring his sword down on me, I turned and blocked it with my katana made of fire "nice brother, you're getting better"
I punched him square in the nose "what did I say" I snarled
He chuckled "oh you must know it by now, I only do that to get on your nerves, I would never consider you my brother" he said kicking me where the sun don't shine, I winced but swung my foot out and kicked him right across the side of the head
He fell to the ground and I jumped on him, I started to repeatedly punch him in the face "this is for my friends" I growled, I stood up and started stomping on his chest and stomach "and this is for everyone you've ever hurt" I pinned him by the arms and legs and smiled at him demonically "and this is just to know" I ripped his mask off and gasped, eyes wide

I couldn't believe this, my best friend, or my rival I don't know anymore, but he's tried to kill me multiple times "L-Laurance" I asked standing up and taking a few steps back
He stood up and and laughed manically "yes, and now that you know I have to kill you, and your little girlfriend I let her see part of my face so she'll know if she sees me out in public" he said clapping his hands together and held them out towards me "ice make spike" the spikes shot from his hands, both piercing my gut, I coughed and blood started to flow out of my mouth, I can't fight him he's been my friend for as long as I can remember, I looked up at him mouthed the word "Why"
"GARROTH" I heard Aphmau yell, I looked over and saw her standing at the doorway "you have to fight, I won't let you get killed" she raised her hand and a bolt of lightning shot out of it
Aphmau POV ~before she escaped~
Ice Bane just left and I was trying to get out of this ice block, my hands were already touching all I needed was to separate them, I leaned my head forward until I found a sharp point on the ice, I nicked my skin until a little blood came out "bloody needle" I murmured, the blood hardened and shot forward cracking the ice, it retracted and I pulled my hands apart slightly and faced them as forward as possible "unbreakable my A**" I muttered "lighting make explosion" the ice block exploded and I was left crouching there, now where's Garroth, I ran towards the exit
