I walked into the kitchen just in time for dinner. Mom had made mac and cheese.

"How was your day with Katiya?" she asked as we ate.

"She didn't show up," I said , deciding on truth over lies," I was with Taylor instead."

Okay, not the complete truth. I'm not ready to let my mother in on my outside life.

"Oh that's nice, how is he? what did you guys do?"she asked, studying me closely.

"We watched a movie, and walked around for a while, catching up actually!" i said with way too much enthusiasm.

"That's great, honey, I'm glad you're bonding."

Mom had always loved Taylor, he's the son she never had but always wanted. After dinner i washed up and headed to my room. I had forgotten to turn my phone back on. I reached into my bra but realized that it wasn't there. Don't act like girls don't do that, its totally normal!  I rushed downstairs, almost knocking over that pot plant for a second time, and straight through the doors. i peered through the car window. My bag was there but so was an envelope. I took them out of the car and carried them up to my room. once i was in i closed the door. I turned my phone on and put it on to charge while i inspected the envelope. It was small, about the size of a ring box. It was addressed to me...

I couldn't contain my laughter, I had thrown a giggle fit before i had finished reading the letter. Sage is so sweet, I'm more than enough to him?. I felt my heart skip and my insides felt all mushy like a jelly baby! Smiling i reached over to grab my phone. Checking the screen:

Haley : OMG ! so last night i had so much fun, we should have danced together more though. I'm sorry pooky! Ill make it up to you tomorrow. CarrTryt shopping at 11am? you up for it?

Allison : I think Daniel is a player, i need your advice! what should i do?!

John : Hey babe!

Taylor : I'm sorry about last night, John is a problem
