Chapter 3

Sarah's POV
I walk into the main room to see Jace, Clary and another mundane, "what's going on why is there a mundane in here", I say walking up to them before Alec could ask, "circle member followed him to get to Clary", Jace says, "they had a circle rune like the guy who took my mother", Clary says, "what exactly is a circle member and why are they trying to kill us", the mundane asks, "all we know is that the circle members lead a revolt, lot of shadow hunters died, including our father", I say, "ever since then we were forbidden to speak or hear about the circle", Alec says, "how is that even possible it's your history", Clary asks, "says the girl who didn't know she was a Shadowhunter", I say walking over to Izzy with Alec and Jace.

"Yeah your right", Clary says making us stop, "and now the only person who knows the truth is missing, I don't care about your rule or what's forbidden I just want to find someone who can help find my mother", she says, "there is", Jace says, "you coming", "yeah", Clary say following Jace, the mundane starts to follow, but Jace stops him, "hey we are a packaged deal", Clary says making me snort earning a wack to the arm from Alec, "there are runes everywhere along the training room floor which can kill your little mundane friend", Jace says, "I can handle the runes, what are they exactly", the mundane asks, "they give us Shadowhunters our demon fighting powers", Isabelle says using her stele over the angelic power rune. "So hot", the mundane says earning a snort from Jace, "the rune is hot", the mundane says, "don't worry Jace he'll be in good hands, in fact I was about to make breakfast", Isabelle says, "oh on second thought the runes are much less deadlier", me and Jace say at the same time, "I'll pretend I didn't hear that", Isabelle says, "please excuse my brother and sister's manners. This is Alec and Sarah, I'm Isabelle", she says holding out her hand, "Lewis, Simon, Simon Lewis", the mundane says, I roll my eyes, "Jace if anything were to happen to him-", "with Izzy the only thing that's going to happen is Simon getting laid", I say.

Before Jace and Clary walk away Jace whispers something about not eating Isabelle's food, before Isabelle pulls Simon to the kitchen, I was about to follow when Alec pulls me back, "what", I ask, "can I talk to you", he says, "aren't we doing that already", I say, "Sarah I'm serious, look I don't know how to put this properly but I am in love with you, I have been in love with you ever since you and Jace came into the institute", he says, "really I always though you had a thing for my brother", I say, he shakes his head, "oh this was a-", I cut him off by bringing my lip to his before pulling away, "Sarah Wayland will you do the honor of being my girlfriend", Alec says, I would love to", I say before walking towards the kitchen.
