Sarah's POV
We walk back into the institute to start looking for Simon, "I don't get it how could Shadowhunters be better than what you call mundanes", Clary says, "because we protect humans", Isabelle says, "right humans", Clary says turning around, "you protect humans, you left Simon all alone in the van, great job guys, you rock", Clary says, "there is some truth to the idea that humans should have some common sense", Alec says, "not now Alec", I say making him look at me, "look they won't do anything to Simon they just wanted to draw you out", Jace says, "they want the cup and they think you have it", I say, "why do they think that why does anyone think that. What my mom lies to me my entire life and 'oh there is this magic cup I have hid all my life at planet bong but don't tell anyone. What am I supposed to do now", Clary asks, "we have to report this to the clave", Alec says walking forward, "they have to know what we learned about Valentine", he continues, "what that he's my father, great fine tell them, what good does that do Simon", Clary asks, "Clary its all connected the vamps want the cup", Jace says, "why it makes new Shadowhunter", Clary says, "no body wants Valentine creating an army bowing down to himself", Alec says leaning against the wall, "plus it controls demons", I say, "they'll propose a trade, Simon for the cup", Jace says, "so vampires will trade Simon for the cup and Valentine will trade my mother, either way I loose someone I care about", Clary says making us look to the ground,  "why don't I just toss it in the air let them fight for it themselves", Clary says, "so this doesn't matter to you", Alec responds bluntly, "yes it does matter to me", Clary snaps, "listen when you saved my life I put my trust in you", she says to Jace, "first mistake", I mutter earning a glare from Alec, "now I need you to put your trust in me", Clary says, I was about to make a snarky remark when Alec coves my mouth with his hand, I bite on his hand, "owe", he says rubbing where I bit him.

"I can't become one of you over night", Clary says, "she was raised as a mundane", Isabelle says, "what are you her spokes person now", I say sarcastically, "I don't need a spokes person I need a plan", Clary says walking into the main room. "What about all this stuff I mean can't any of this helm me find Simon", Clary says walking around, "where is he anyways some crypt in Transylvania", she asks as we get to the meeting table in the centre, "that was Camille wasn't it, they're locals", Jace says, "they're at the Hotel DuMort down in Gansworth", I say, "and we came back here, we need to go now, let's go", Clary says, "we need a clave resolution for that", Alec says, "the five us can't declare war on the vampires all by ourselves", Isabelle says, "and we can't react without concitering our options", I say.

"Downworlders are slaves to their impulses we are not", Alec says, "Alec we can't just jump on all the Downworlders", Isabelle says, "yeah that's right sealies have their charm apparently", Alec says making everyone but Clary grin, "sealies", Clary asks, "like fairy, fair folks, pixies, nixies, elves, anything half angel half demon", Jace says, "Izzy can tell you all about them she has a thing", Alec says, "we all got our things don't we", Isabelle says wiggling her eyebrows at the two of us.

"Ok I can't listen to this", Clary starts, "comes on enjoy this moment, this is the first time Alec has smiled in two days, new record", I say fist bumping my brother, "can we focus", Clary says making us stop. Simon has been kidnapped by vampires and if you guys are going to joke around I think I am going to go do this myself", Clary says starting to walk outside, "Clary your going to get yourself killed", Jace calls, she keeps walking, "Clary, Simon too", I say making her stop, she turns and walks towards us, "then help me, while we conciser other options my best friend is suffering. Is that something Shadowhunters understand or am I just being a mundane", Clary says, Jace looks at us, "Clary's right", Jace says as he huddled us together.

"Ok so the vampires made their first move, we have to take care of this ourselves", Jace says, "this is a bad idea", me and Alec say at the same time, "do you both have a better one, the vamps broke the accords, captured a mundane that's a big no-no, the clave will give us a lecture but they will be glad we did it, come on", Jace says, "hard to argue with that", Isabelle says, "ok even if we went ahead with this I don't see how we get out of here without explaining where we are going We need weapons and we can't let anyone see us get them", Alec says, "I know where to get what we need", Jace says.
