Chapter 11

Sarah's POV
Me and Alec were getting our weapons ready when Izzy walks in wearing a silver dress with a silver head piece and Magnus's necklace around her neck. "Pick a weapon, I suggest you whip", Alec says bluntly, "what's wrong with you", Isabelle asks, "nothing", Alec says taking the arrow from Isabelle, she looks at me, I shrug, "he's been like this, he isn't fond of the idea of going to this party", I say, "come on its a Downworlders rave you should be a little excited", Isabelle says walking over and picking up a seraph blade from the rack, "it's a mission not a party", Alec says not looking up from his arrow, "yeah whatever before clary came it was the same thing every day. Go on a mission, kill demons, go on a mission", Isabelle says, "she's right at least now things are interesting", I say, "interesting. Valentine is alive, and actively seeking the cup, he threatens our entire world and we are helping his daughter who by the way we have no reason to trust and who showed up out of no where. On top of that we are over paying some warlock who might not even have the information we need so no, guys I don't find it interesting", Alec rants angrily, I place my hands on his chest, "whoa do you at least feel better now", I say, "no I don't", he says wrapping his arm around me, I give him a look, "ok a little", he says grabbing his bow and quiver before letting go of me and slinging the quiver around his shoulder, "you can't keep bottling these up Alec, it's only a matter of time before they explode and not the fun kind", I say, he places his arm back around me, "ok let's go", he says as we walk around the table, "you two are so cute together", Isabelle says making me roll my eyes, "and we are not going for the music", Alec says as we walk away from Isabelle.

We make it to the meeting spot, "last time we were here this place was crawling with vampires", Clary says, "all Downworlders hang out here, we just came on vampire night", Jace says, "right and when is this all going to become normal to me", Clary asks, "I don't know", Jace says. "All clear", Alec says as he and Isabelle come up behind us, "do you think red is my colour", Isabelle asks, "with a body like that anything is your colour", I say, "thank you", Isabelle says, "Sarah looks sexy in red doesn't she Alec", "y-yeah", Alec's cheeks turn red from embarrassment, I giggle and kiss Alec's cheek, "never realized you two were together", Clary says, "when did you guys get together", Isabelle asks, "right before we went to the City of Bones", Alec says, Jace growls. "Dam, anyway I make this necklace look good", Isabelle says, "can you take it off I'm certain Magnus Bane doesn't want you drooling on his necklace before we make the extange", Alec says, "you know most men like it when you you admire their jewels", Isabelle says, "can you just give it to Jace", Alec says unamused as me and Isabelle laugh as she takes it off and hands it to Jace, "lighten up Alec she's joking", I say looping our arms together, "yeah your such a buzzkill", Isabelle says still laughing while me and Clary try to stop.

We get into the club and music already starts pounding in my ear, "blend in but keep your weapons ready", Jace says, "come on babe lets go dance", I say pulling Alec to the dance floor as Jace and Clary go to see Magnus, "I don't know how to dance", Alec says, "that's a lie you and I used to dance in the garden all the time when we were younger", I say noticing the circle member about to kill Magnus, Alce sees too because he shoots his arrow, "watch out", I call as the arrow kills the circle member. I walk up to the others, Alec goes and retrieves his arrow, checking to see if there was anyone else, "who is that", Magnus says admiring Alec, "hey warlock, eyes off my boyfriend", I snap, Magnus rolls his eyes before jumping into a portal before anyone could do anything. "The area is secure looks like he was the only one", Isabelle says walking up to us, "he has a circle rune on the base of his neck", Alec says, "they found us, it's not safe here Clary we need to go", Jace says making us follow him out, we look back to see Clary not following, "Clary", Jace says walking up to her. They end up following us out the back before Clary calls Jace's name, we turn around , "clary we have to move", Jace says, "I'm catching my breath", Clary says, "this is just great, not only did he not give the girl her memories back but he took the necklace, this is fantastic", Alec snaps, "the girl her name is Clary and I highly suggest you keep your voice down", Jace snaps, "why you afraid I'm going to upset her like you upset your sister, we have risked our lives again and again for this girl and where has that gotten us. Right no where, we are no closer to finding the mortal cup and we lost the necklace", Alec says making me push him away from Jace. "Hey, Alec calm down", I whisper in his ear, "hey I'm right here and I don't care about your dam jewelry, look I'm sorry your going to look bad in front of your bosses but my mother is still missing and our only hope just disappeared to go knows where", Clary snaps, "clary its going to be fine-", "no it's not, people are dying because of me and Magnus will never come out of hiding again while Valentine is still after him, we will never find him and I will never get my memories back", Clary snaps cutting Jace off, "you give up way to easy", Jace says taking something from Clary's hand walking away a little, "what is he doing", Clary asks, "he's tracking Magnus", I say, "quiet and keep your distance", Alec says, "the button belonged to Magnus", Isabelle says. "It's not strong enough, Magnus must be blocking the tracker, let's do this Alec", Jace says turning to us, Alec walks over to Jace as they clasp their hands together over the button, "what are they doing", Clary asks, "Parabiti tracking", Isabelle says, "of course they are", Clary says, "when Parabiti's track their powers grow stronger, Jace and Alec are going to track Magnus together", I say, "this whole Parabiti thing seems odd intimidate", Clary says, "you don't know the half of it", Isabelle says. I notice they break the connection, Jace starts walking which makes us follow him.
