the band that plays that stressed out song

okay.

I've been on youtube for too long, and I just wanted to talk.

I have been a fan of tøp for over a year (or two? idk ask makenna, too lOng honestly, im trash)

and it's fucking crazy. it's crazy to think about how huge this band is.

and before you complain about all of the fans at concerts only liking stressed out, fuck you. because that is selfish. I'm guilty of putting it in my head, there's proof in this book.

if you have the mindset that every fan you see probably only likes stressed out and you hate those people, then how are you going to make friends? that's what fandoms are about.

I mean the clique in general makes me sad because it's so fucked up honestly. I'm a huge fan of tøp, i like them more than any other band I listen to honestly, but I try to stay out of that fandom because it is a Mess™.

just be proud of the boys. please.

I think it's funny because tear in my heart used to be played a lot on alternative radio stations, like stressed out, but it was only on alternative stations, really. people in the clique complained and said that was the "fake fan song".

now what do you have to say? yes, stressed out is overplayed, its a great song but it's just played way too much to listen to over and over again. but if you hear someone say "my favorite song is stressed out," "my favorite song is tear in my heart" "my favorite song is ride" (because it's getting to that level) "my favorite song is heathens", what are you going to do? just stop talking to them?

yes, there are annoying people out there who try so desperately to be in the fandom, I've literally met one, had to teach her to play the uke correctly. but you cant just shut out the bands success. 

if you haven't seen the look on tylers face while playing a sold out Hershey Park Stadium from the other night, please go look at it because god damn, it made me want to cry. he looks so overwhelmingly happy to have all of these people hear his songs. they made it, be happy for them, because it's not your band.
