Hey guys! So as you will probably already know, this is my second fanfic, but I'm still updating both so keep reading broken (my first.) Hope you enjoy the intro to Zayn's Maid! xoxo :)

I picked at my sloppy breakfast, my best friend Jade slipping in the seat next to me.

"You excited?" she asked cheerfully.

That was the thing with Jade, no matter how depressing or lonely living in this dump was, she still had a smile on her face.

"It's the same every year Jade," I muttered, too exhausted to grin for her.

Every year at the orphanage we held and auction, "the opportunity of a lifetime." It was basically the chance for rich sleazy men and celebrities to get their hands on workers to do the stuff they should be doing themselves.

"Yeah but what if-"

"What if a perverted bald prick buys us to do his dirty work and clean his huge mansion?" I said sarcastically.

She pouted and hit me playfully, her white cheeks blushing.

"Noooo! This could be our ticket out of here, Perrie, we could be free!" she whispered.

The owner of the orphanage peered over the sea of heads in the food hall, glaring at us suspiciously. We were well known for our many attempts of escape, meaning we were watched every minute of every day.

Jade and I were shoved in this hell-hole together 15 years ago when our parents died in a fatal car crash, leaving us stranded with no one to look after us. We had been inseparable ever since, just like our mothers.

I knew she was getting her hopes up, we were stuck here forever and that was it, well...another 3 years. Once we were 18 we could leave as we were classed as adults, but we couldn't wait that long.

"Jade...if we're bought on Friday, we're dead. Once they celebs have their hands on us, we belong to them...forever!" I cried, a little louder than I had initially intended.

She chewed her lip sadly, close to tears,

"So what do we do?" she asked, her voice shaky.

"We stick together," I said, wrapping my arms round her," till the end."

I prayed to god that no one would bid for Jade, she was too fragile to cope with what those creeps could do to her. I couldn't care less what they did to me...but there was no way in hell I was going to sit back and let them hurt my Jade.
