She never argued as I squeezed her hand, pushing past the paps who were blinding me with their extreme flashing. I threw her into my four-by-four, jumping in myself and reversing fiercely out of the car park. Perrie was stunned, her chest heaving from shock.

"You okay?" I asked, my voice coming out a bit more concerned than I had intended.

She nodded,"will I have to deal with this often?"

I laughed and made my way towards the motorway, fiddling with my eyebrow piercing as I concentrated on the road.

"Probably."

I remembered how intense it felt when I first experienced the pap's clicking and overwhelming stalking, I could see it in her eyes how abnormal it felt for her. It looked like she had felt this way before, panicked, afraid...

"So what's your story then?" I asked, wanting to know how she ended up in that sickening place," tell me something about yourself."

She sucked in a huge sigh, not taking her eye off the road once.

"My parents, they...they were driving along the motorway after a night out. Dad hadn't been drinking, my friend...Jade's parents were with them. A truck just came out of no where, it had been snowing and they.."

She stopped suddenly catching her breath, eyes watering slightly. I felt guilty for asking about her past life, feeling like it was my fault she was close to tears.

"...they collided, poof! That was my life over. I can't actually remember them, all I have is a picture. No smells, no sounds, no...nothing?"

"Jesus Perrie, I'm so-"

"I don't want your sympathy," she snapped coldly.

I kept my mouth shut and nodded vigorously. She was so intriguing which I didn't expect from a poor orphan girl. I could tell she was damaged, I could tell she was being so harsh to cover up just how fragile she really was...but I wanted her to open up more.

"I just want to know more about you," I said quietly.

She wiped a tear away with the back of her hand, rubbing her temple.

"Why couldn't you just leave me be?" she whispered.

It felt like she had just stabbed me in the back, but I brushed it off quickly an focused on the road. I knew the reason I bought her was wrong, I knew buying someone was wrong...but I was lonely without the boys around 24/7 and I needed...something.

"I thought...I don't know what I thought," I babbled," I thought I was doing the right thing."

"The right thing would be to take me back to that dump and leave me alone!" she cried.

"I can't do that!" I raised my voice to her for the first time," I need-"

"You need what, Zayn?!" she screamed," you need a new playmate that doesn't give a shit about who you are or how much money you make? Do you need more sex Zayn? Huh?"

I sat speechless, gawping at her for too long and nearly hydroplaning due to the heavy rain outside.

Why had I been so stupid?

She laughed, no humour in her voice at all as she stormed out of the car, trudging along in a strop.

"Perrie..." I groaned, running after her.

"Leave me alone Zayn!" she called over her shoulder.

"Where are you gonna go, hm?" I shouted over the loud patter of falling raindrops.

"As far away from you as possible," she replied, acting smart and bugging me.

"Get back here!" I wailed, picking up the pace, " don't walk away from me Perrie."

"What are you gonna do about it?!"

I grabbed her by the waist, turning her round to face me. Her hand was too fast, slapping me hard across my dripping wet cheek. I stood there for a while, my head looking away from her. She was panting, her tears masked by the the pouring rain. I looked her in the eye again, making her body shake.

"I'm so-"

"Don't say it!" she cried, cutting me off," because your not sorry, you bought me to be...to be your...sex slave!"

"That's not true!" I argued.

She sank to her knees, quivering in the cold and wrapping her arms around myself. I squatted in front of her, tucking a loose strand of her wet hair behind her ear. She looked up at me with her big brown eyes, forcing me to look away.

"Promise me...promise me you won't hurt me?" she begged, making my heart sink with guilt.

I looked into her eyes again, holding her by the shoulders which were now soaking wet.

" I won't hurt you...I promise."
