Perrie's P.O.V

He called the surgery and booked an appointment for 12, my stomach twisting with nerves. I didn't want to know what was wrong with me.

"I wish I could come with you," he whispered in my ear as he walked me to the door, kissing the nape of my neck.

I laughed softly and wrapped my arms round his shoulders, " I know how busy you are."

I was secretly relieved that he couldn't come with me, I didn't know how he would react.

He waved as I confronted the map he had drawn on a paper napkin for me, not really sure where I was going.

By the time I got there my legs were shaking from the cold, my nose tingling and numb. The surgery was bleak and dull on the outside, describing how I felt about going in the first place.

I reached my hand out to touch the door handle and flinched, the few people inside staring at me.

I couldn't do it.

There was a small pharmacy next door and I chewed my lip and walked away, the eyes watching me as I slipped away from the surgery. It was quiet and bright inside, the harsh lights and chemical fumes making my head spin. The woman at the counter grinned politely and I foolishly smiled back. She could clearly feel the tension in the air between us and went off to deal with the mound of prescriptions she had to sort through. I scanned the rows of medicines and soothers, gulping at the item I was looking for. Just the sight of one made my heart beat a little faster and my insides squirmed at the awkwardness I felt within me. I picked the cheapest one and counted the money out before nervously shuffling up to the woman. Her eyes widened as I placed the pregnancy test on the table in front of her, sighing frustratedly.

"Oh dear..." she whispered, " your so young."

I bit my lip to fight back the tears as she tutted at me, scanning the long box and looking at me sadly.

"I...I don't know what else to do," I whispered, my emotions and hormones taking over and pouring out of me.

She tiptoed round the counter and stood next to me, cautiously draping her arm round my shoulders.

"Hey...it's okay, she said comfortingly, "these things happen, they shouldn't in my opinion but it's common these days."

I looked up at her and nodded, slumping over the worktop and fiddling with the box. She refused to take my money no matter how much I had insisted on her taking it.

"Thank you," I said, shoving it as deep as possible down my jeans pocket.

"Good luck!" she cried as I wandered towards the door, waving to me as I stepped out to the pouring rain...

I sat on the kerb and let the water seep through my skin, goosebumps forming all over my body. It was freezing but I didn't care, all I could concentrate on was the sickening feeling I had in the pit of my stomach.

A car drew up in front of me, a familiar face peering out of the window. Savan the boys vocal coach hopped out and squatted in front of me, staring at my mascara stained face just to be sure it was me.

"Perrie? God what are you doing out here, it's freezing!" she cried, pulling me to my feet.

She ushered me towards the car and shoved me in, shaking her wet hair as she sat beside me.

"I'm sorry....I'm just-"

"You don't have to say sorry..."

I clutched the test in my pocket and winced as she reached her hand out to me, pulling my hand away.

"What have you got there sweetie?"

I was too weak to stop her and she pulled the box out, gasping as a tear rolled down my cheek.

"I don't know what to do..." I whispered.

"Oh Perrie."

She threw her arms round me as I sat stunned, the test slipping through her fingers to my feet. I sobbed into her shoulder and she gently rubbed my back, cursing under her breath.

"I swear to god Zayn's got it coming,"she said firmly.

"No..." I said quietly, pushing away from her, "no, he...he can't find out. Not yet."

"Well...I hope you get the answer you want," she sighed, " I'll take you back to the studio."

"Please...would you just take me home?" I asked.

She smiled sadly and nodded, pulling away from the pharmacy and taking me back to Zayn's.

I prayed that she wouldn't say anything to him, I had to tell him myself.
