Perrie's P.O.V

I braced myself as the front door slammed shut, the sound of Zayn's footsteps drawing closer.

"Fuck Perrie!" he cried, flopping down next to me.

I was breaking out in a sweat, feeling nauseas with morning sickness and nerves.

"I'm sorry," I said shakily, clutching my stomach.

"What? Sorry for what?" he asked.

"For making a fool of myself in front of the paps."

He shook his head and laughed quietly, stroking my temple gently.

"Perrie I'm not angry with you," he chuckled, "I was worried!"

I smiled sadly and winced as a shooting pain hit the pit of my stomach, a tiny whimper escaping my lips. His eyes widened and he cupped my stomach in his hand, rubbing gently.

"Zayn," I groaned.

"Right, we need to get you checked out," he said in a panic, scooping me up from the couch.

"Zayn I'm fine..." I whispered.

He ignored me and burst through the door, the bodyguard no where to be seen.

"But what about the baby?" he breathed in my ear, the nerves showing in the shakiness of his voice.

I swallowed a huge lump in my throat as he lay me in the back seat, it happened so quickly I could barely remember the intense feeling.

We drove to a nearby clinic, Zayn looking over his shoulder the odd time just to check on me. He pulled me out slowly, supporting me by the elbows to keep me upright.

"Zayn honestly...I feel fine now."

He shook his head again and ushered me inside the building, demanding to see a doctor straight away.

"I want to see a doctor," he said firmly, "now...right now."

I looked around the posh clinic, it was private obviously, full of plastic surgery failures and snooty cold victims.

"I'm very sorry but-"

"No, she...she's pregnant," he said quietly, not looking the red-headed receptionist in the eye.

I blocked out every noise around me, the room still and silent. I was rushed into a special room that had a little screen in the corner, a long white bed patiently waiting for me. A friendly faced man sat on a swingy chair, gesturing me to take a seat.

"So...your expecting a baby?" he said awkwardly, clearly noticing my young age.

I nodded with shame and rubbed my tired eyes as he slowly lifted my shirt up to reveal the tiny bump, Zayn unable to look at it.

"This is going to be cold, okay?"

He squirted an icy cold liquid on my stomach, making me gasp with the sudden shock. I relaxed as he massaged a little hand-piece into my tummy, listening for a tiny little thud.

Zayn suddenly grasped my hand, squeezing it tight and staring at the screen I had been avoiding.

"There's the heartbeat," the doctor said with relief, a little thump ringing in my ear.

My eyes widened and I turned my head to face the picture, a tear slipping down my cheek.

I didn't want to feel this way, I had been avoiding growing attached to the tiny being inside me for the short time I had knew its existence.

But it was so beautiful.
