'' So... What are we going to do today, sensei? '' I asked, looking at Takeshi. I was currently sitting on one of the two beds in the hotel room that he got for us. My stuff were already ready but he was still packing his.
He stared at me with narrowed eyes. '' Don't call me 'sensei'. ''
'' Why not, se- I mean... Uh... Takeshi-san? '' I asked, tossing my head on one side and staring at him with curiosity.
He sighed and turned away from me. '' I'm not telling you, '' he simply said and continued stuffing his things in his huge backpack. '' And for the other question... Look, let me tell you how our time together'll go, okay? '' he seriously asked. He didn't even wait for my answer and already continued: '' I won't stop doing my job because of you. You thought we were going to go somewhere where we'll train a few hours every day and then have fun in the meantime? Well, you thought wrong, brat. ''
I actually didn't think about anything yet. My brain needed some time to start thinking again after I woke up in the morning. I just stared at Takeshi's back with curiosity. '' Then what are we going to do, Takeshi-san? ''
'' Missions, '' he simply replied, threw his backpack over his shoulder and walked out of the room, without saying anything else. After a few seconds I realised that he wasn't coming back, jumped up and quickly hurried after him. When I caught up with him he was already walking away from the village, down the muddy road. The rain stopped in the middle of the night and now there were puddles everywhere and water, dripping from the trees.
'' What kind of missions? '' I asked. I had to pretty much run because he walked so fast and had much longer legs than me.
'' So you're still here, '' he asked, sounding slightly annoyed because of that. I just grinned while he sighed and continued: '' The ones that I usually do. Probably to dangerous for a genin... Well, surely to dangerous for a genin but you said yourself that you're strong, didn't you. If you're too afraid you can still go back to the Leaf village. '' He looked at me with a hopeful grin on his face.
I raised my fist in the air. '' No way, Takeshi-san! I'm not going anywhere! ''
He sighed with disappointment and then continued: '' Well, the missions are to tough for a genin but I don't feel like sleeping all day and doing nothing because you're to weak. That's why you're going to be my partner from now on. And this'll work if you won't hold me back, understand, brat? ''
'' Yes, sir! '' I yelled and saluted to him.
He shot a glare in my direction. '' You're a weird brat. ''
'' Everyone says that! '' I said with a grin.
He narrowed his eyes at me with confusion before he looked again. '' We're going to walk for the next two hours until we'll reach the Dragon mountains. ''
'' Dragon mountains? '' I asked with confusion. '' I've never heard of them. ''
Takeshi nodded. '' They don't teach you about things like that in school, brat. The Dragon mountains are the place where dragon summonings are until someone summons them. And we're going there to kill one of them. His summoner died a few days ago and that dragon isn't very popular for being a calm and kind one. Well, none of them are but if we don't kill this one than he'll destroy the mountains, go to the nearest village and kill everyone there. ''
My eyes widened. '' So we're going to fight a dragon? '' I asked with disbelief.
'' That's right, brat. '' Then he looked at me and grinned, lighting himself a cigarette. '' You're not afraid, are you, brat? I mean you're still a little girl aren't you? Girls are supposed to be afraid of those kind of things. ''
