I was in a dimly lit room and my hand was raised. Anger was in my body and I swung my hand down; slapping someone in the face. The person looked into my eyes, crying, and I knew who it was. It was Jason. I smacked him again and he cried harder. “How dare you go to them?!” I yelled. “How dare you runaway?! You are MY son!” I hit him again but this time he fell to the ground. “You are just like you’re father! Loving them instead of me!” I kicked him then took out my wand. “Crucio.” Jason screamed with pain and I stopped. “Now, I hoped you learned your lesson. You will not speak a word of this. You won’t even remember who did this to you.” I pointed my wand at him again. “Obliviate.”
I took a deep breath and sat up in my bed quickly. I’ve had the same dream since Charlotte took Jason six days ago. I was worried about him and thought it was true but George kept telling me it was only a nightmare. It didn’t feel like a nightmare. I wished I knew where Jason lived because I’d be checking up on him every day. There was no way that boy was going to get hurt with me there.
I took in several deep breaths before I was finally calmed down. I felt someone touch my back and George said, “Was it that nightmare again?” I nodded and looked into his eyes. “Aria, you just need to relax. Jason’s fine. Charlotte wouldn’t hurt him.”
“As far as you know.” I said a little harshly and got out of the bed.
He sighed and followed me into our bathroom. “She wouldn’t. You know how I know?”
I looked at him and crossed my arms. “How?”
He smiled and touched my arms. “Because I saw the same look on her as I did you when you thought Fred and Paige disappeared. Fear, worry, love.”
I rolled my eyes. “Because people can’t act like they care.”
He sighed again. “Air, please. Just believe he’s fine.”
“I can’t believe it when I keep having this dream.” I shrugged his arms off me and left the bathroom.
“Didn’t you have nightmares in that dream Fred made you have? Didn’t we make something to get them to stop?” He asked as he followed me.
“Yes, the Sweet Dream pills. But I told you I forgot the ingredients so we can’t make them.” I took off the shirt I wore to bed and threw it in the laundry bin.
“We could find out through Legilimens.”
I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. “Legilimens? Seriously? The stupid pills aren’t important enough for me to be under that.” I grabbed a pair of jeans and a tank top and put them on. “I’m going to find Jason. You can make the kids breakfast and either take them to the shop or the Burrow or my parents’ or wherever they want to go.” I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my wand.
“Aria, come on. He’s fine.”
“I’ll believe that when I see it.” I apparated out of the house and to Diagon Alley.
I figured if Jason was anywhere, he would be here. We both knew that Charlotte would be able to get him if he apparated to my house and that he could easily get away from her here. But he could only get here if he used Floo Powder; which I prayed he did. I started walking the streets of Diagon Alley and looked everywhere for a glimpse of Jason. I even looked down Knockturn Alley but I never saw him. Every time I passed Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, George would just stare at me. I knew he thought I was crazy but I didn’t care. I couldn’t believe he wasn’t more concerned about his nephew, Fred’s son. Maybe he was denying Fred had a son. But still. This was a boy in need and I wasn’t going to give up on him.
