Bringing George Home

            I instantly let go of Jude’s hand and headed for the door. I was this closed to George and I wasn’t going to wait anymore. Ben grabbed my hand, thought, and kept me from opening the door. “Aria, let us go first.” He said and let me go.

            “Then go already.” I said harshly and looked at him with fierce eyes.

            He looked at Harry and Harry said, “Wait for our signal.” Harry looked directly at me and I crossed my arms.

            He then headed for the door and was followed by Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Charlie, Ben, and Neville; their wands pointed forward. Jude and Draco stood by me and we watched them. Harry opened the door first and looked out. He nodded to the others and they all walked out there; wherever there was. Draco took the sport by the door and we heard spells being cast. Jude held me back to protect me and Draco ran out into the room with the others. I pulled out my wand and got away from Jude to follow Draco.

            The fighting was taking place in the sitting room of the mansion. Spells were flying in every direction and there was no safe way through to anywhere. Jude stood by me quickly and flung a spell at a witch who was fighting Charlie. The witch fell and Charlie went after another. I scanned the room for Draco and saw he was by the stairs. He nodded towards me and I started running towards him.

            Jude followed and protected me from the spells that were flying towards us. Ben soon joined in and we headed for Draco. We were almost there when I heard someone yell Crucio and pain filled my body. I fell to the ground and screamed from the pain. Jude and Ben looked around like maniacs trying to find who was doing this to me.

            “Raychel!” I screamed. “Look for Raychel and Charlotte!”

            More pain filled my body and I dug my nails into the floor. “Ben! Stay with her! I’ll find the bitch!” Jude yelled and ran off.

            “Ben kneeled down by me and said, “It’s ok, Aria. Jude will get them.”

            The spell was released and I took a deep breath. My body was sweaty and my fingers hurt from digging them into the floor but I didn’t care. I just had to find George. I sat up and grabbed my wand from next to me. “Let’ go get George.” I told Ben and he helped me up.

            I looked at the stairs but Draco was gone. Where had he gone off to? Screw it. I’d find George myself. Draco did say he was up stairs so I went off that and ran towards the stairs with Ben. We ran up them as fast as we could and found Charlie, Jude, and Draco fighting Charlotte and some other witches up there. Draco hit Charlotte with a spell that knocked her to the ground and he then looked at me. “He’s up those stairs but the door’s locked.” He yelled at me.

            Ben went up the stairs and I followed him. “Alohomora!” Ben yelled and had his wand pointed at the lock. He tried turning the doorknob but it didn’t turn. He looked back at me and said, “It’s not working.”

            “Move!” I yelled and pulled him out of the way. I touched the door with my left hand and said, “George, if you can hear me, stand back.” I backed away from the door and pointed my wand at it. “Bombarda.”

            The door flew off the frame and hit the wall straight ahead of it with a crash. I smiled back at Ben then went into the dark room ahead of me. I looked around the room but only saw a table in there. There wasn’t anyone in there and tears filled my eyes.
