A “Relaxing” Day

I woke up to George wrapping his arms around me. I felt his breath on the back of head and his body was covering mine. I looked at the clock and saw that it was four a.m. I groaned and touched his hand. “The nightmare again?” I asked him.

“Yeah.” He answered and kissed my head.

I turned my head and looked into his eyes. “Don’t think about it and you won’t dream of it.”

            “It’s hard not to.”

I moved and we shifted our bodies so I was facing him and he put his arms back around me. I rested my head against his bare chest and kissed him. “I’m going to be fine. I told you that.”

“I know but I’m still worried.” He kissed my head again. “Especially since we haven’t heard from Draco in two days.”

It was true. We hadn’t heard from him since James’s birthday two days ago and I was worried. I wanted to make sure he was alright but George thought that Raychel could’ve gotten to him and could be waiting for us there. He was probably right and that’s why none of us went to see. I just wanted to know what she was up to so we could get this all over with and be done. I missed being able to relax.

“What are you thinking about?” George asked and I looked up into his eyes.

“That I want this over with so we can all relax.” I answered.

He nodded. “I know.” He held me closer to him. “How about we stay home today and relax with the kids? We’ll watch movies and lay around and play games. We’ll wear sweats and forgot all of this is going on.”

I smiled. “That sounds great but I’m not guaranteeing I’ll forget about this.”

            “I know but we’ll try.”

I yawned. “Let’s start by sleeping longer.”

“Ok.” He said and kissed my head.

“Mummy!” Sebastian yelled and woke me up three hours later. He jumped up on the bed and lied down by me.

“Good morning, Sweetie.” I smiled and held him to me.

He looked into my eyes and asked, “Why is your bed in the sitting room?”

I creased my eyebrows and sat up. I looked around the room and it was the sitting room. My eyes widened and I yelled, “George!”

“Yes, Love?” He asked as he came out of the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn.

“Why is the bed in the sitting room?” I asked and he put the bowl on the coffee table next to the bed.

He sat down by me and said, “We agreed we were going to relax today so what better way to relax than lying in bed with our kids and watch movies?”

“And you couldn’t just move the TV into our room?”

His face fell. “I didn’t think of that.”
