"Was that the guy back in Colorado?" Tyler looked confused. I could hear the sound of his tires screeching as he left the street that Tyler's house was located on."Chris." I sighed to myself. I snapped out of it. "W-what? Yeah it was him." I now stared at a blank road in front of me.
"Are you okay?" Tyler looked down at me.
He turned my body back into his. "Yeah, I am fine." I gave him a reassuring smile.
He leaned in and planted a kiss on my head. My face burned. "I still cannot tell you how sorry I am about what happened back at the hospital. I totally lost it when Laila said that-"
"Don't Tyler, you don't need to apologize. It really wasn't your fault. I freaked out, which I should not have. We were both in pretty bad shape from seeing Laila like that. Let's just put this whole mess behind us. Kay?" I looked into his big, piercing, green eyes.
He snaked his arms around my waist. "Ally, I need to tell you something."
My stomach dropped. What could possibly be wrong now? I tried my best to put on a normal face. "O-okay, what is it?"
"I- I love you." His words came out like silk.
"Tyler, I love you too." It surprised me how easy the words were to say.
"Come here." He pulled me in for a hug that seemed like it lasted forever. He let go and pulled back. My eyes still closed from the hug. He moved the hair away from my face to behind my ear. His warm hands left me in goosebumps. His soft lips crashed into mine. Belle started jumping on my leg, causing both of us to start laughing.
"You just cannot get enough of Alyce, can you?" He picked her up. He gave her to me to hold. "Yeah me either."

I hopped out of my red jeep and grabbed my book sack from the back of my car. I wore my converse with my H&M jeans and a plain white T shirt from H&M as well. I only wore foundation, mascara, and blush to school now. Who wants to really go over board with their makeup at school anyways? I saw a familiar car in that usual parking spot.
Katherine's car.
A glum Katherine hopped out of her car wearing a very casual blue dress with sandals, very cute. Her hair was in a loose fishtail down her back making her blue, blue eyes pop with the dark mascara she is wearing. But the sad expression on her face took away from her look. She digged in her bag to find her keys. She kept looking when it fell on the ground.
"Ugh." She said very frustrated.
I didn't know how to approach her because I wasn't sure if she had forgiven me about the whole situation. I hope Tyler explained to her so she won't be upset. What if he didn't even tell her I stopped by to see them, but she wasn't there? She was out at her "other" friends house. I decided to stop being such a chicken and walked up to her.
"Hey." I smiled down at her. "Need some help?" I offered.
"Ally? Oh my God." She hopped up immediately and hugged me, very taken by surprise. "I am so sorry."
I very quickly relaxed in her grip and was untense. "Stop. You don't have to apologize. You did nothing wrong. I am the one who should be apologizing-"
"Don't even." She broke the hug and looked me dead into my eyes. "You know what, let's not even talk about this. I already know you came over and you and Tyler made up. Let's please forget about this and please y'all never fight again so I don't get stuck in the middle picking sides."
"I totally agree. Sounds like a plan." I laughed.
She pulled me back in for a short hug. "Ugh, I missed you."
"I missed you more."
"Impossible."
"Possible."
We spent the whole day catching up and talking about the latest gossip. The usual.
We walked down the hall as the bell rang getting ready to head home and walk to our cars together.
"Yeah, they would be so cute together." I told her. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a familiar looking back, I noticed because of the beanie. He was drinking water. "Hey will you give me a minute?" I looked at Katherine, then back at Chris. He didn't even notice me. "I need to go take care of something real quick."
She looked a little confused at first. I don't think she knows who she is but it doesn't matter. "Um, yeah sure. Okay. I will just call you when I get home. I need some advice about a homecoming dress anyway." She started walking off.
"Wait, when is that?" I totally forgot about that. I need to ask Tyler.
"Three weeks. Talk to you later!" She called off as she walked out the door.
I watched her leave and just stared at the door for a second. Then I turned back around to Chris still by the water fountain. "Hey." I tapped him on his shoulder.
"Oh." He turned around. His face looked upset. "Hi."
"Chris, why did you just leave me the other night? I wanted to tell you bye at least or have properly introduced you to Tyler." I explained.
"Right, about that. Alyce." That was one of the first times he didn't call me Ally. What is up with him? "I think it would be better for everybody if we just forget about everything that happened in the past few days. Kay?" He started grabbing his things heading to his locker.
I shook my head and just stood there in shock. "W-what?" He already had walked off. I followed him, flustered and confused.
"Chris, what's the matter? Why?" He stood at the foot of his locker.
"You are meant for him, Alyce." He stared at me, then went back to picking the things out of his locker.
"Okay? So, does that mean I still can't be friends with you?" I looked up at him confused. My eyes started to get glassy.
"I gotta go. Take care, Alyce." He rushed off.
"What. just. happened?"
