My alarm clock woke me up. I actually felt like getting up. I couldn't help, but smile as I thought of Tyler when I turned it off. I threw on some makeup, not much though. I put on a black skater skirt and a white thin strap top with 1 inch wedges.
"Good morning." I told to Mom as I grabbed an apple from the bowl.
"Good morning to you." She looked surprised. I gave her a sincere smile as a reply back.
"You seem happy?" She laughed.
"Yeah, I guess you could say that." I smirked at my mother.
"What is that supposed to mean?" She looked at me with a funny expression.
"Nothing, it is just that the move isn't all you know, so bad." I said sheepishly.
"Oh really? So could you say you like it here?" Mom asked me. I gave her a head nod. I took another bite into my apple as I continued to talk.
"So I was thinking about my car, when do you think I could get it? And by the way, you don't need to bring me to school."
"Next week, this week is packed with stuff for me. Why don't you need a ride? Are you going to walk?" She looked at me.
"No, Katherine is bringing me." I answered.
"Okay great, have a lovely day at school honey." She kissed my forehead as she grabbed the keys and walked out the door.
School was over and nothing really interesting happened.
"So, I am going to the set. If you want me to drop you off before I go, that is fine with me. But you are welcome to come." Katherine said as we walked through the parking lot.
"No, actually I think I would really like to come with you." I smiled.
"Really? Okay cool!" She chirped.
We get there, and see many people moving around. Same thing as last time.
"Hey Jeff, how are you doing?" Katherine asked sincerely.
"Great, how are you Katherine?" He replied.
"Fabulous! Anyways Jeff, this is Alyce, my good friend." She pointed to me. "Alyce, this is Jeff, the producer of the show."
"Oh hello, nice to meet you." I reached my hand out and shaked his.
"Hi, nice to meet you, too." Jeff replied.
"I love your show by the way." I chirped.
"Thanks!" Jeff smiled.
"Yeah, okay well it was great meeting you! I am sure we will see each other again some time soon!" I said politely.
"Of course we will." Jeff grinned.
Right then, I see a figure walk from the distance to us. I smiled as I realized who it was. It was Tyler Hoechlin. He looked at me, and gave me the hush sign. I nodded and laughed as I saw what he was about to do.
He screamed trying to scare Katherine as he hugged her from behind. She let out a piercing scream and kicked him playfully as she realized who it was. The whole cast turned heads, and laughed.
"Tyler, you scared the crap out of me!" She grabbed her stomach as she tried to catch her breathe.
"You should have seen how bad I scared Posey last week!" Tyler laughed.
"Ha yeah well, I feel bad for your cast members." Katherine laughed.
"Katherine, we could use a set of lungs from you on the show." Jeff laughed.
"You should see what I can do when I see a spider." She exclaimed causing a laugh from the people around us.
"Hey." Tyler said shyly.
"Hey!" I smiled.
"What are you doing here?" Tyler asked kindly.
"Umm, Katherine and I just decided to drop by and see how the set is doing." I told him.
"Oh cool!" Tyler said. I nodded. "Hey you want to see something cool?"
"Yeah!"
He took me to where the cast does makeup. They had people lied up in hair and makeup. Some took longer than others.
"Wow. How long does it usually take you to get ready?" I asked.
"First time, about five hours. Now it's about three to four." Tyler chuckled.
"That looks so gross, yet interesting." I responded.
"Yeah you should see when they get you all bloodied up." Katherine explained.
"So are you working right now?" I asked Tyler.
"No." Tyler smiled.
"Well then what are you doing here? I don't really understand what the process is." I laughed.
"Haha that is okay. It takes the newbies a while to get the hang of it, too." He told us.
"Oh."
"I work in two hours. I am just on break right now." Tyler explained.
"Oh, where is the rest of the crew?" I wondered.
"They are shooting at the moment." Tyler put his hands into his pockets.
"Oh, cool!"
"Yeah!" Tyler answered.
The rest of the day Tyler, Katherine, and I just explored. He showed us a more in depth tour of everything. He was the tour guide and I was the tourist. It was really interesting.
"So will I see you later, Alyce?" Tyler looked at me, then looked at the ground, then at me and smiled. Gosh, that hair really works for him.
"Of course!" I chirped. I gave him a hug, and we said our good byes before I hopped in the car. I looked on the floor for my purse to get my phone, and it wasn't here. Of course, I forgot it.
"Ugh." I said to myself as I had to walk back inside and go find it.
I looked, and then I saw Katherine and Tyker talking.
"Someone has got a crush." She whispered to him nudging his shoulder.
"Uh, no I do not." Tyler replied nervously.
"I can tell your lying, and not because your heart rate went up." She said jokingly. I smiled at her humor.
"How can you be so sure?" He laughed.
"Because when you lie you don't make eye contact." She told him.
"No I do not." Tyler said as he looked away from her. "Okay maybe I do."
"Wow." She said shocked. They couldn't be talking about me. Or could it be me?
"What?" Tyler asked.
"I didn't think I would get it out of you that easily." She laughed.
"Just don't tell her okay? Please?" He begged.
"Okay, okay. Don't get your panties in a bunch." She told him. I smiled.
I see my purse. It was on the table behind Tyler and Katherine. Oh frick, what am I supposed to do? How do I get it? They can't know I was there eavesdropping! Maybe I could just text her I said as I reached into my pocket, that was empty. BECAUSE MY PHONE IS IN MY PURSE! I am screwed.
"Forgot my purse." I walked nervously past them, and they stopped their conversation immediately. They tried to act as natural as possible, but it looked so fake.
"Okay. I will be waiting in the car. Bye!" I walked out as quickly as possible. Why am I such an idiot?
"Bye Alyce."
"Bye Tyler."
