Chapter 3: It's Time To Join the Fight!

It's Time To Join the Fight!

A sigh was made behind all of them. They all looked in that direction to see a man hovering before them. The man ran his fingers through his almost perfect hair to make it perfect. He was looking at a golden pocket watch which was attached by a similar chain to his coat. It was equally elegant; it was brown with a golden trim and buttons, tan pants with boots and a belt that matched the coat. The only thing that was out of place was his plain greenish-grey shirt under his majestic coat. He closed the watch and attached it to his waist. "I expected Sjin to last a bit longer."

"What the heck are you on about!" Martyn was no longer on Sjin and was trudging over to the man.

"Martyn don't!" Sjin and Nilesy shouted in unison.

The man sighed again as Martyn swung his sword towards him. It went into his shoulder, but the man didn't even wince. He pulled the unbloodied sword out of him and snapped it in half with his super human strength, then kneed the young king in the stomach. Martyn fell over in pain and cradled his abdomen. "You cannot hurt a god, Martyn, everyone knows that."

Sjin ran over and helped him up. "You didn't have to hurt him though!" The man glared at him and Sjin winced as he brought his attention back to Forest Prince. "It's ok Martyn, just don't attack Ridge again."

"You would be wise to listen to your friend." Ridgedog sneered for a moment, but then pushed it aside with a sigh. "I have a proposition for you three. You do not have to accept it, but if you reject, the world will be destroyed."

Martyn stood, but was still slumped over with his hand on his stomach. "And what would that be?" He said through gritted teeth.

Ridgedog placed his thumb and finger onto the top of his nose. "The Reficules have joined Herobrine and Israphel might have as well." The prince and Nilesy were speechless. "Will you... help me? You would not believe how hard it is for me to ask you this."

"And how exactly do you expect me to do that? I'm not that powerful!" He had recovered from the pain and had calmed down.

"I am going to team you up with the greatest heroes in this world and others. Will you help?"

"Sure, but, can you tell me the name of at least one of the others?" Martyn became frustrated that he had to work with people from outside his kingdom.

"I can tell you at lest two, the others are going to be a surprise. The main two come from the bordering land...the heroes of Minecraftia. Xephos and Honeydew!"

Sorry for such a short chapter. I needed to post this and so I tied it together for a minor cliffhanger. The next one should be out sometime this week! My goal is that each chapter is within the next week of the previous one. Once again thanks!
