Christmas Special

*Saeclum's POV*

"Saeclum, come here!" Ugh, what does Ridge want this time? I'll never get my research finished if he keeps shouting for me. Putting my notes down and stashing my Thauminomicon, I fly to the door and glide down the tower stairwell to the main floor. Ridge welcomes me as I approach his room. Even though we're brothers, we have opposite interests. For instance, I am a magic lover and he is a science lover; I create whilst he destroys. "You're here! Good."

"What do you want Ridge?" I say with a slight snarl, but he ignores it.

"Martyn hasn't returned to the Overworld since we pushed him into the Twilight." I gave him an angry look. "Okay, fine. Since I pushed him in. Better?" I simply nod. "I want you to go and check on them immediately."

"Okay." I can't disobey him, he's family and what not. So I pull on my favourite dark green trench coat, slide my goggles over my eyes, and fly to their portal. "Honeydew!" the young Dwarf must have jumped three feet in the air.

"Who are you!" His eyes are as big as bowling balls and he pulls out his diamond axe. "Get away or else! Don't you dare leave a finger on the girl!"

"Relax, Dwarf. I'm not here to hurt you." I say with a smile. "I come to bring good tidings. Tonight is the eve of Christmas and I wanted to bring you and your friends presents." He lowers his weapon a bit, but doesn't move. I snap my fingers and a brown box with an orange bow appears before him.

"What's this?" He exclaims pointing at the gift.

"It is a present to aid you on your quest." A white box with a red bow appeared in front of Zoey, a grey and orange box for Sjin and a blue one for Sips. Zoey woke up and Sips'n Sjin were released. "Now, open them."

"Okay!" Zoey grabs her present and then realises her arm was gone. "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh! My arm! Where is it!?" She is in a panic. I glide over to her and put a hand on her shoulder.

"I'll pull on this side, you pull on that one. Okay?" She sniffs with tears in her eyes and nods. We pull at the same time to reveal a box with a mechanical arm inside. "Oh my gosh! This is awesome! It looks like it has a plasma canon!"

Sjin opens his and found a shotgun. "Cool! I can ice some jokers now."

Sips opens his to find a dirt launcher. "Aww, look at this! This is amazing!"

After seeing everyone open their presents, Honeydew decides to. Inside is a box of Joffo cakes. "Not to complain, but how do these help me?" In a second, the cakes transforms into little robots that look like Corgis. "AWWWWWWWWWWW!!! They're so adorable!"

Whilst he snuggles with them, I leap into the swirling portal. On the other side was Nilesy and Alphina. She is sitting next to Nilesy, looking at the never ending sunrise. Silently, I glide above them and drop two presents. They look around, but can't see me. "Should we open them?" He asked her. "Sure." They open their gifts to reveal dual high powered water guns for them.

Next stop is Rythian and Lewis. "Lewis, Enderborn." I bowed slightly. They swiftly pull out their swords and Lewis tackles me to the ground. "You'll have to do better than that." I say with a smile and fly at a high speed into the air with Lewis screaming. He stared at the ground in a fright before I brought him back down. As soon as I touch the bottom, Rythian stabs me with his sword. I just look back and forth between the blade through my heart and his shocked face. "Really? You're lucky you missed the coat, but that was a nice shirt. It's a shame." I remove the sword and return it to him. Here are your gifts, hopefully it's not coal." And I fly away. They open them to find a charger for a laser gun and life stone.

It feels nice to play Santa for once. I know I didn't have to do this, but it's Christmas time and everyone should be happy. The castle is approaching quickly and I get another present ready. I fly into and the window and see Martyn turned blue.
